Викторина “Хорошо ли ты знаешь Великобританию?»

                                              Пояснительная записка.

Викторина предназначена для проведения внеклассного мероприятия для студентов 1 курса всех специальностей и имеет целью расширение лексического запаса, актуализацию межпредметных связей и повышение интереса к изучению языка. Познавательно-развлекательная форма проведения мероприятия делает его востребованным приемом в групповой методике преподавания.

Викторина состоит из 3 раундов: достопримечательности Лондона, знаменитые люди Великобритании, культура и искусство.

Форма проведения

Оптимальная форма проведения – две-три группы учащихся по 5-6 человек. Желательно присутствие болельщиков с плакатами на английском языке. Жюри из 2-3 преподавателей считает баллы и разрешает спорные вопросы.

Цель: развитие социокультурной компетенции учащихся

Задачи:

Образовательные:

- приобщать учащихся к культуре англоязычных стран через ознакомление учащихся с их историческими, политическими и социокультурными реалиями;

-контролировать знания, умения и навыки учащихся, полученные в ходе изучения страноведения англоязычных стран;

-совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком.

Развивающие:

 - развивать у учащихся умения логически рассуждать, высказывать гипотезы, анализировать, обобщать, выдвигать гипотезы, делать выводы.

Воспитательные:

 - формировать уважение, прививать интерес и воспитывать толерантность к культуре, обычаям и традициям других стран, повышать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.

Оборудование: компьютер и мультимедийный проектор для демонстрации вопросов и ответов викторины, выполненных в формате мультимедийной презентации.

Ход викторины

- Good afternoon, dear friends! Nice to meet you! I am very glad to greet you here, moreover, I am very proud to see you here as participants of our Game. It is devoted to a mysterious, amazing world, the world of English.

- First of all I’d like to introduce the rules of the game to you. We have 3 teams, consisting of 6 people each. There are 3 rounds, the 1 and 2 consist of 4 sections and the last of 2 sections only. According to their difficulty, each question may bring you from 1to 10 points in the first round, from 5 to 15 points in the second round, and from 10 to 20 points in the third one.

Each team has its own question, but in case the answer is wrong or the team cannot answer the question, the other two teams can give their answer.

So, if everything is clear to you, take your answer sheets and we are starting right now.

SIGHTSEEING PLACES
