   Hello. My name is Tamara. I am a schoolgirl of Egorlyksky school No. 1. Today I will be your guide along  the natural reserved zone "Estuary".

  In the territory of the Rostov region "Estuary", of 300 hectares, is unique as here the rare plants included in the Red List of the Rostov region grow.  The greatest interest in the Rostov Region represent the flowers: Bibirstein's tulip, Gössner's tulip, Iris saline.  In this territory in April - May, we can observe the period of active nesting of the birds arranging their nests on the earth (a pheasant, a grey partridge, a quail, a duck (kryakwa)) and also animals - a hare.

   The purpose of preservation of this area from negative anthropogenous impact and for preservation and enhancement of her biodiversity, in the specified territory the regime of special protection according to which the pasture of the cattle and a run of the cattle to places of a pasture, placement of beehives and apiaries, the drive and the parking of automotor-vehicles out of public roads, and also a vegetation burning out, rooting out bushes, plowing of soils are forbidden.  

     The biggest threat is that "Estuary" borders almost from all directions on an arable land, it is crossed by a set of country roads. Such arrangement of "Estuary" can lead to degeneration of populations and elimination of a specific variety over time.

      As estuary lands remained the only place in the territory of the area where wild animals and birds can live, without being exposed to continuous threat from a man - there is a need to take measures for preservation of this unique natural object.

    There isn’t remained  on our Don land the places where the  impact of a man on the environment wouldn’t be felt.

    As a result of plowing of lemon lands in the territory of Egorlyksky district ecological changes of the Nature are revealed: climate, soils, waters, animal and flora.

   What should we  do? How to keep the resource potential of the Nature for the future generations?

     1. It is necessary to hold events for preservation of an ecological situation on the small site of the maternal nature on which to try to keep the nature in original state.

     2. To create the unique natural Estuary complex in the territory of Egorlyksky district of the Rostov region that will allow to cultivate in ourselves and others the aspirations and abilities to live, develop economy and society according to laws and opportunities of the nature, keeping its resource potential for the future generations. So, the resolution No. 632  of the Administration of Egorlyksky district "About creation of especially protected natural territory "Egorlyksky "Estuary" was accepted on November 18, 2015.

     It’s worth remembering:

Tomorrow  of Earth will be such how we will create it today. Let's protect our small Homeland!
