It was great to hear from you.  Sorry I haven’t answered earlier but I was really busy with my school. I’m glad you’re OK!

You asked me about my exams.  I’ll take the Unified State Exam. All Russian students go through this. I'm going to prepare for them. I’ll take exams in compulsory subjects: Mathematics and Russian. Also I’ll take exams in elective subjects. I’ve chosen English and Social Studies because knowledge of these subjects will be useful for me in the future.

Well, I’d better go now: my Mum asked me to help her with  dinner.

Dear John,

Thank you for your letter. Sorry, I have not answered earlier but I was busy with my school. I am glad you are OK.

You asked me about sports. Sports are popular with my friends. Some of them play football. Others are athletes and take part in different competitions. As for me, I enjoy basketball. My school has some sports facilities. We have a good gym. We do sports on the sports field. That’s why I keep fit myself. Firstly, I go to the sport club every day. Secondly, I eat healthy food.

Well, I’d better go now as I have to do my homework.

Thank you for your letter. Sorry I haven’t answered earlier but I was busy with my school. I’m glad you’re OK!

You asked me about my exams. As for me, have my exams this year. I have chosen English and Biology, because I need them in the future, especially English. More than this, I would like to live in London.

 I’ve plans for my summer holidays. I am going to travel in June. I plan to go to my grandparents in the countryside in July. And I’ll spend time with my mother in late summer.

Well, I’d better go now as I have to do my homework.

Thanks for your letter! Sorry I haven’t answered earlier but I was really busy with my school. I’m glad you’re OK.

You asked me about exams and summer plans. I have exams in June. I'm very excited. I chose Literature and Social studies because these subjects are my favorite and I know them best. I wish to dedicate summer to self-improvement because I want to be better. I would also like to get a job because I want to earn my own money. I also would like to spend more time with friends because they are offended when I don't go out with them.

Dear Ben,

Thank you for your last letter. Sorry I haven’t written earlier but I was very busy at school.

You asked me about Russian school exams. As for me, my first exam is Math, it’ll be on the 6th of June, and then I’ll have other subjects. I’ve chosen Social science,  Russian and English, because these subjects are necessary for my future profession, especially English, as the international language, which is needed for everyone. After my exams in summer, we’re going to visit Krasnodar. We’re planning to go to the seaside, to the zoo and just to have a rest.

Well, I’d better go now as I have to do my homework.
