Инструкция по выполнению работы

На выполнение итоговой работы по английскому языку даётся 2 академических часа (80 минут). Работа включает в себя задания по аудированию, чтению, использованию языка (лексико-грамматические задания) и письмо (написание личного письма).

В заданиях раздела «Аудирование» представлены две части. В первом задании необходимо установить соответствие с тем, чем были заняты члены семьи, путешествуя по Риму. Во втором задании – послушать советы и поставить их в той последовательности, в которой они прозвучат во время диалога. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение заданий по аудированию: 10 минут.

В заданиях раздела «Чтение» в первой и второй частях задания на выбор и запись одного правильного ответа из 3 предложенных А, В или С. Решение и ответ требуется записать в отведённых для этого полях в работе.

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 2 раздела: 15 минут.

Лексико-грамматический раздел представлен заданием на выбор правильных лексико-грамматических единиц в соответствие с поставленной коммуникативной задачей в предложении.

    Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 3 раздела: 30 минут.

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 4 части (письмо): 25 минут на письмо.

При выполнении работы нельзя пользоваться словарями, учебниками, рабочими тетрадями и другими справочниками, в том числе мобильными телефонами и другими гаджетами. При необходимости можно пользоваться черновиком. Записи в черновике проверяться и оцениваться не будут.

Выполнять задания можно в любом порядке (кроме раздела «Аудирование», главное – правильно выполнить как можно больше заданий. Советуем Вам для экономии времени пропускать задание, которое не удаётся выполнить сразу, и переходить к следующему. Если после выполнения всей работы у Вас останется время, можно будет вернуться к пропущенным заданиям.

Все задания соответствуют структуре и форме ОГЭ, за исключением творческого задания, и включают изученный материал за 7 класс базового уровня.

Задания на аудирование представлены в двух частях. В первом задании необходимо установить соответствие между диалогами и местами, где они происходят. Во втором задании-прослушать высказывания и подобрать соответствующее утверждение.  Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 1 раздела:  15 минут.

В заданиях раздела «Чтение» в первой части необходимо установить соответствие между текстами А––G и заголовками 1––8, один заголовок лишний. Всего 7 заданий.  Во второй части – в заданиях 10-17 нужно записать одну цифру, которая соответствует номеру правильного ответа из трех предложенных. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 2 раздела: 30 минут.

Лексико-грамматический раздел представлен заданием на преобразование слов. Напечатанные заглавными буквами слова в конце строк, обозначенных номерами 1–15, необходимо преобразовать таким образом, чтобы они грамматически соответствовали содержанию текста.   Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 3 раздела: 20 минут.

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 4 части (личное письмо) 20 минут. Личное письмо оценивается в 10 баллов по критериям ОГЭ и включает критерии: решение коммуникативной задачи, лексика и грамматика, оформление, орфография и пунктуация.

При выполнении работы нельзя пользоваться словарями, учебниками, рабочими тетрадями и другими справочниками, в том числе мобильными телефонами и другими гаджетами. При необходимости можно пользоваться черновиком. Записи в черновике проверяться и оцениваться не будут.

Endangered animals in Kazakhstan: Argali, Wild sheep

1 The Argali is the largest wild sheep on the Earth. These species are one of the most ecologically, economically and culturally important species on our planet.

2 The Argali inhabit steppes and rocky areas and open deserts, mountains on central and northern Asia, with main populations in the Kyrgyz republic, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. The Argali usually live in groups of 2 to 100 animals.

3 The Argali sheep is related to a domestic sheep, it is about the same length as a domestic sheep but it is much taller and heavier. They have large, curved horns. Their coat ranges from light yellow to darker grey-brown in colour. The sheep are very calm and not aggressive towards other sheep, and are very social animals. Strong longlegs help these sheep run over all types of territories. Because of their large size, Argali sheep do not usually jump in the mountains.

4 They eat grass. During summer when there is more food, all animals choose higher areas.

5 Main threats to the argali sheep come from humans and human activity. These include: over-hunting and poaching (браконьерство), diseases from domestic sheep, habitat loss.

6 WWF (World Wide Fund on Nature) works with governments to protect the Argali sheep and return them into their wild habitat. It also provides support to authorities seeking to improve regulation of hunting. For example, WWF Mongolia worked with the government to produce a conservation plan for the Argali.

                                Among Vitamins, D Seems Short for ‘Does a Lot’

Vitamin D helps bones and muscles to grow strong and healthy. But more and more research is suggesting that vitamin D might also help to prevent many diseases.

The easiest way to get vitamin D is from sunlight. The sun’s ultraviolet rays react with skin cells to produce vitamin D. But many people worry about skin damage from the sun. As a result they cover their skin or wear sunblock or stay out of the sun.

Not many foods naturally contain vitamin D. Foods high in this vitamin include oily fish such as salmon and tuna, and fish liver oils. Researchers reported last year that farmed salmon had only about one-fourth as much vitamin D as wild salmon.

Small amounts of D are found in beef liver, cheese and eggs. Research in the last several years has shown that low levels of vitamin D may increase the risk of heart attacks and cancer. Other studies have shown that people with rheumatic diseases often have low levels of vitamin D.

More doctors are now testing their patients for their vitamin D levels. But if people take too much vitamin D, it might act as a poison .

                                    Five Ways to Reach a Healthy Weight

1 Regular physical activity burns calories and builds muscle - it helps you to look and feel good and keep fit. Walking the family dog, cycling to school, and doing other things for your daily activity can all make a difference. If you want to burn more calories, add some strength exercises to build muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn, even when you aren’t exercising.

2 Fruit and vegetables are about more than just vitamins and minerals. They’re also packed with fibre, which means they fill you up. And when you eat fruit and vegetables, you’re less likely to overeat when it comes to high-calorie foods like chips or cookies.

3 Sizes of portions have increased over the past 10 years, and it means extra calories. Another important key factor in weight gain is that more people drink sugary beverages, such as sodas, juice drinks, and energy drinks. So choose smaller portions and drink water or low-fat milk instead of soda.

4 One reason people get less exercise these days is because of an increase in “screen time” - the amount of time spent watching TV, looking at the computer, or playing video games. Limit screen time to less than 2 hours per day.

5 Breakfast gives you energy to do more during the day. People who skip breakfast often feel so hungry that they eat more later on. So they get more calories than if they eat breakfast.

Two sports brands

The small town in Bavaria is very famous in Germany, because there is the home of the Dassler brothers. They started two well-known sports brands: Adidas and Puma. But their story is not about peace, it's about war, disagreement and competition.

In 1924 Adolf and Rudolf started making shoes and soon had a small shoe business. The elder brother, Rudolf (or Rudi), was a veteran of World War I. He was a good businessman and knew how to sell things. The younger brother, Adolf (or Adi) was more thoughtful and creative. The brothers had 25 workers at the factory and they made 100 pairs of sports shoes every day.

During the 1936 Olympics, Adi Dassler drove to the Olympic village with a suitcase full of sports shoes. He asked an American sprinter Jesse Owens to wear and run in them. Owens won 4 gold medals and at once the Dassler shoes became popular. The Dasslers were selling 200,000 pairs of shoes each year before World War II.

We don't know much about their lives at the time of World War II. However, in the 1940s they refused to work together any more. Rudolf left the company, moved to the other bank of the river and started a competing shop there. At first he wanted to name his company Ruda, but then he thought about a graceful, quick animal – the puma. And so Puma was born.

Adi stayed with family business and renamed the company Adidas. He developed the 3-stripe logo in 1941 and registered it as Adidas' brand. Adi wanted to make a symbol that could be easily recognized by other people and three stripes was a good idea. The stripes show a mountain. You have to climb it if you want to reach the peak or achieve anything.

The serious conflict between the brothers divided the town into two: the Adidas bank and the Puma bank of the river. It was like a silent war. Only the bravest people could wear their Puma shoes and cross the river to the Adidas side of the town. When people met in the street, they first looked down at each other's shoes. It helped them to decide if that person was an enemy or a friend. What's more, Puma people didn't marry Adidas people. There were Adidas and Puma schools, pubs, shops, restaurants and hotels.

The brothers never became friendly again or even spoke to each other. Rudi died in 1974 and left Puma to his son. The family sold the company in 1989. Adi died in 1978, his son was the head of Adidas till his death in 1987. Today Puma is controlled by a big French company and Adidas is owned by a number of companies.

The "war" was declared completely over in 2009. Employees and workers of both companies shook hands and then played a football match in the Bavarian town of Herzogenaurach. The match was the first joint event for the two companies since 1948. The match ended 7–5 but the teams were not divided into Adidas and Puma. Each team was a mix of Adidas and Puma players.

по английскому языку

8  класс (базовый уровень)

Инструкция по выполнению работы

На выполнение итоговой работы по английскому языку даётся 2 академических часа (80 минут), включая инструктаж (5 мин). На тестовую часть отводится 75 минут. Работа включает в себя задания на аудирование,  чтение, использование языка (лексико-грамматические задания) и письмо (написание личного письма в ответ на письмо-стимул). Все задания соответствуют структуре и форме ОГЭ, за исключением творческого задания, и включают изученный материал за 8 класс углубленного уровня.

В задании на аудирование необходимо прослушать высказывания и подобрать соответствующее утверждение. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 1 раздела:  10 минут.

В задании раздела «Чтение» нужно записать одну цифру, которая соответствует номеру правильного ответа из трех предложенных. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 2 раздела: 15 минут.

Лексико-грамматический раздел представлен двумя видами заданий. В первом задании напечатанные заглавными буквами слова в конце строк, обозначенных номерами 1–6, необходимо преобразовать таким образом, чтобы они грамматически соответствовали содержанию текста. Во втором задании  напечатанные заглавными буквами слова в конце строк, обозначенных номерами 1–6, необходимо преобразовать таким образом, чтобы они лексически соответствовали содержанию текста Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 3 раздела: 20 минут.

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 4 части (личное письмо): 30 минут: Личное письмо оценивается в 10 баллов по критериям ОГЭ и включает критерии: решение коммуникативной задачи, лексика и грамматика, оформление, орфография и пунктуация.

При выполнении работы нельзя пользоваться словарями, учебниками, рабочими тетрадями и другими справочниками, в том числе мобильными телефонами и другими гаджетами. При необходимости можно пользоваться черновиком. Записи в черновике проверяться и оцениваться не будут.

Выполнять задания можно в любом порядке (кроме раздела «Аудирование»,  главное – правильно выполнить как можно больше заданий. Советуем Вам для экономии времени пропускать задание, которое не удаётся выполнить сразу, и переходить к следующему. Если после выполнения всей работы у Вас останется время, можно будет вернуться к пропущенным заданиям.

Tea

Everybody knows that Britain is a tea-drinking nation. Tea is more than just a drink to the British – it is a way of life. Many people drink it first with breakfast, then mid-morning, with lunch, at tea-time (around 5 o’clock), with dinner and finally just before bed. As a nation, they go through 185 million cups per day! No less than 77% of British people are regular tea drinkers; they drink more than twice as much tea as coffee.

A legend says that tea was discovered in China in the third millennium BC. When a Chinese Emperor was having breakfast in his garden, a tea leaf fell into his cup with hot water. The water became coloured and the Emperor was delighted with the taste of the new drink. To Britain, tea came much later. It happened in the 17th century, when the British ships landed on the shore of China and came back with a load of tea.

Tea drinking became fashionable in England after Charles II married the Portuguese princess Catherine of Braganza. She adored tea and introduced it to the royal court. Just as people today will copy celebrities, people in the 17th and 18th centuries copied the royal family. Tea drinking spread like wildfire, starting first among the nobles and then spreading to wealthy businessmen who liked to sit down for a nice “cuppa” in coffee houses. Tea was an expensive product. It was only for the rich and often kept under lock and key.

In the 17th century the British really had two daily meals – breakfast and dinner. Dinner was the heaviest meal of the day, and was usually served in the afternoon. The custom of eating a regular “afternoon tea” began during the 1700’s, as people began serving dinner later and later in the evening. For the aristocracy, or at least for the Duchess Anna Maria of Bedford, 6 hours between meals was simply too long. She began to ask for a cup of tea and light snacks to be served around 5 pm, and then began to invite guests to join her. The custom of “afternoon tea” was born, and it spread among the upper classes and then among the workers, for whom this late afternoon meal became the main of the day.

The first tea shop for ladies was opened by Thomas Twining in 1717 and slowly tea shops began to appear throughout England making the drinking of tea available to everyone. The British appreciated the new drink for its taste. It was also believed that tea cured lots of diseases. However, the most important thing was that drinking tea prevented lots of diseases – to make the drink people used boiled water and drank less raw water.

For centuries now, tea has been the national drink of Great Britain. Tea has so thoroughly integrated itself into British culture that during World War II the government was seriously afraid that the country’s morale could suffer from the lack of tea and made a special decision to ration it.

Tea has worked its way into language too. Nowadays people have tea breaks at work, even if they drink coffee or cola. Many people call the main evening meal tea, even if they drink beer with it. When there is a lot of trouble about something very unimportant, it is called a storm in a tea cup. When someone is upset or depressed, people say they need tea and sympathy. In fact, tea is the best treatment for all sorts of problems and troubles.

по английскому языку

9 класс

Инструкция по выполнению работы

На выполнение итоговой работы по английскому языку даётся 3 академических часа (135 минут), включая инструктаж (15 мин). На тестовую часть отводится 120 минут. Работа включает в себя задания на аудирование,  чтение, использование языка (лексико-грамматические задания, письмо (написание личного письма в ответ на письмо-стимул) и творческого задания (написать собственное мнение по предложенной проблеме). Все задания соответствуют структуре и форме ОГЭ, за исключением творческого задания, и включают изученный материал за 9 класс базового уровня.

Задания на аудирование представлены в трех частях. В первом задании необходимо установить соответствие между диалогами и местами, где они происходят. Во втором задании-прослушать высказывания и подобрать соответствующее утверждение.  В третьем  задании – из трех предложенных вариантов выбрать только один. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 1 раздела:  30 минут.

В заданиях раздела «Чтение» в первой части необходимо установить соответствие между текстами А––G и заголовками 1––8, один заголовок лишний. Всего 7 заданий.  Во второй части – в заданиях 10-17 нужно записать одну цифру, которая соответствует номеру правильного ответа из трех предложенных. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 2 раздела: 30 минут.

Лексико-грамматический раздел представлен заданием на преобразование слов. Напечатанные заглавными буквами слова в конце строк, обозначенных номерами 1–15, необходимо преобразовать таким образом, чтобы они грамматически соответствовали содержанию текста.   Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 3 раздела: 30 минут.

Рекомендуемое время на выполнение 4 части (личное письмо) и 5 части               (творческое задание): 30 минут: Личное письмо оценивается в 10 баллов по критериям ОГЭ и включает критерии: решение коммуникативной задачи, лексика и грамматика, оформление, орфография и пунктуация. Творческое задание оценивается в 5 баллов и включает критерии: решение коммуникативной задачи, организация текста, лексическое оформление, грамматическое  оформление, орфография и пунктуация.

A. Coffee was first found in Eastern Africa in the area we know today as Ethiopia. A popular legend says that one day a man called Kaldi was watching his goats eating grass and leaves. He noticed that after eating berries from a certain bush the goats became very active. Curious, Kaldi tried the berries himself. He found that these berries gave him additional energy. The story quickly spread throughout the region.

B. The first coffee berries were transported from Ethiopia to Arabian countries and then they were cultivated in Yemen. From there, coffee travelled to Turkey where coffee beans were roasted for the first time over open fires. The roasted beans were crushed and then boiled in water, creating the drink we enjoy today. Finally, in the seventeenth century coffee arrived in France, Britain and Italy.

 C. The first coffeehouses opened in Mecca and quickly became popular centres of social and political activity. The government believed that coffee stimulated radical thinking, and the governor even thought it might unite his opposition. As a result, coffee was forbidden in Mecca. The same thing happened in Turkey a century later, when coffee drinkers were severely punished.

D. They say, in 1776 the thirteen American colonies adopted coffee as their national drink instead of tea. When the British tried to raise the tax on tea, Americans refused to buy it and switched to coffee. In fact, by drinking coffee Americans demonstrated their political views and their dislike for the British – the famous tea-lovers.

 E. The Italians drink their espresso with sugar, the Germans and Swiss add an equal part of hot chocolate, the Mexicans prefer it with cinnamon, and the Belgians – with chocolate. Coffee drinkers in the Middle East usually add cardamom and spices. The Egyptians, on the other hand, are extremely fond of pure, strong coffee. They add neither milk nor cream.

 F. Plain and simple, nothing else. People discovered that if they drank coffee slowly they could taste bitterness, sourness, sweetness and saltiness. For a long time such a taste was new and more than enough. It needed no improvement. Only later did they start experimenting with coffee by adding milk, chocolate, and other flavors. However, nothing can hide the taste of real coffee.

 G. When the first European coffeehouses opened, they quickly grew into places where people played chess, exchanged gossip, sang and danced. Coffeehouses were very popular because anyone could go and enjoy a cup of the drink. The price of a cup of coffee was reasonable. European coffee houses became meeting points for intellectuals, writers and businessmen.

Louis Armstrong

Louis Armstrong played jazz, sang jazz and wrote jazz. He recorded hit songs for fifty years and his music is still heard today on television, radio and in movies.

Louis Armstrong was born in New Orleans, in the state of Louisiana on August 4th, 1901. His father was a factory worker and left the family soon after Louis's birth. Young Louis was desperately poor. He lived with his sister, mother and grandmother in the poorest area of New Orleans known as the Battlefield because of the fighting and shooting that often happened there.

When Louis was eleven years old, he was arrested for firing a gun into the air on New Year's Eve. He was sent to a reform school, where he learned to play the trumpet in the school's band. Eighteen months later Louis was back home and already dreaming of the life of a musician. He sold newspapers, unloaded boats and sold coal. However, in the evenings Louis played the trumpet with local groups or went to clubs to listen to jazz bands. He soon became friends with one of the greatest musicians of the time, Joe Oliver, who became young Louis's teacher. As Louis's skills developed, he began to perform professionally.

He was soon able to stop working on manual labour jobs and began concentrating full-time on music, playing at parties, dances, and at local cafes. He joined Joe Oliver's band and moved to Chicago. Later, Louis organised his own band and began to record one of the greatest series of songs in the history of jazz. Louis developed a unique style of singing: he could make his voice sound like a musical instrument and he could make an instrument sound like a singer's voice. Louis enjoyed singing improvised melodies and rhythms. Armstrong was an easygoing and communicative person. His fellow musicians called him “Satchelmouth” because of his wide smile. Later, it was shortened to “Satchmo”.

Armstrong's biggest hits came later in his life. In 1964, his version of the song «Hello Dolly» was a top hit around the world. It even replaced a top-selling hit by the hugely popular British group, the Beatles. Three years later, he appeared in the film version of “Hello Dolly” with singer Barbra Streisand. The song “What a Wonderful World”, recorded in 1968, was his final big hit.

Louis Armstrong never finished the fifth grade in school, yet he wrote two books about his life and many stories for magazines. He appeared in more than thirty movies. He composed many jazz pieces. He won several gold records and many other awards. Armstrong performed about three hundred concerts each year, travelling all over the world. He became known as the legend and symbol of jazz.
