На самом деле, в начале урока можно продемонстрировать любое видео, в содержании которого упоминаются средства массовой информации, употребленные в презентации.
Презентация же была использована для определения тем для групп.

Урок английского языка в технологии педагогических мастерских в восьмом классе.
Тема урока: “The best mean of Mass Media”
Цель: обобщение изученного материала по теме “Mass Media”, совершенствование навыков говорения по теме.
Задачи:
- формирование навыков коммуникативной компетенции в чтении, говорении, аудировании, письме;
- развитие творческих способностей обучающихся;
- развитие самостоятельности;
Развитие памяти, мышления, воображения;
- повышение мотивации к изучению иностранного языка;
- воспитание чувства взаимопомощи, умения работать в команде;
- развитие социокультурной компетенции.
Речевой материал:
Активная лексика на тему: «Mass Media»; «Television»; «Newspapers»; «What is Internet?»; «The profession of a reporter»; «Are books media too?»
Оборудование:
Английский с удовольствием: учебник для 8 класса / М. З. Биболетова (и др.). - Титул, 2013.
Компьютерное оборудование.

Социализация – Афиширование | As you can see the modern people have lots of ways of getting the information. Some of them just used to get the information and they don’t muse upon the convenience of these means. But what means are the best for us? To answer this question I will divide you into the groups. And now look at the screen, you should choose one card. So, I want you to take the places near the computers. I’ll give you some minutes to make a small presentation on the theme which can be read on your card. | Производится деление на группы по 3-4 человека в каждой. Каждая группа выбирает капитана.
