Конспект урока английского языка в 8 А классе

Цели урока: азвитие языковой компетенции учащихся через обобщение и систематизацию знаний по теме  «Water»

Задачи:

развивающая: развитие способностей к сравнению, анализу и классификации полученной информации.

воспитательная: формирование интереса учащихся к явлениям природы

учебная : формирование лексических навыков говорения;

сопутствующие задачи – развитие умения читать  с целью понимания основного содержания и извлечения конкретной информации.


Тип урока: Комбинированный

формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, парная.

Вид контроля: текущий

1. Организационный момент.

Good morning, pupils. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please.

You are lucky today, because you didn’t have the home task for this lesson.

2. Речевая разминка. So, let’s start our lesson. We are going to start studying a new Unit and today we’ll speak about water. We can see it almost everywhere. I have one question to you – what do we need water for?  (Listen to the Pp’s answers)

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

Look at the blackboard. You see sounds and the words there. Let’s pronounce them and try to match sounds and the words.

4. Введение новых лексических единиц по теме:

As you know we can see the water in nature like:

Water fall

Rain

Stream

A tap

Hail

Let’s add to this list forms you know: snow, cloud, lake, sea, ocean.

I want you to read these words, but before repeat them after me.

Ask 2 Pps to read the words

Now it’s time to use these words in ex 2a p. 126 Open your text books and find the ex 2a please. (Task – fill the gaps in the diagram)

5. Работа с текстом. Let’s move to the next part of our lesson. Now we are going to read the description of the water cycle. We can find it in Ex. 2b.

Skim the text. You see the words in bold, so after reading you’ll have to find the words that help to show that things happen one after another and 2 things happen together.

Read the text.

6. Активизация лексических единиц.

Now it’s time to work with the words we have known. Ex. 2c will help us.

Look at the sentences. You have to complete them. There is one extra-word. You have to find it.

Work please. After having done this you’ll check each other.
