                                                        My Dream House

My name's Mark. We all know that every living person needs a place to stay. And that place is your home. A home is a place filled with joy, love, laughter, happiness and some-times sadness, too. So we all want to have a nice home.

Now let's dream a little. What is my dream house like? I can describe it in two words: big and comfortable. It is away from the noisy city centre, somewhere in the countryside. It's a detached house of course, not a small cottage. There's a small river nearby and a green lawn in front of it. From the outside the house is modern, with very big windows and bal-conies on each side. There are two stories in my house with an open air swimming pool at the top of the roof. Of course we have a garage and enough parking space.

In the basement there's some kind of a recreation cen-tre. I mean, it has everything you need not to feel bored. Like video games, darts and painting stands.

On the ground floor I have a spacious kitchen with all the equipment: a coffeemaker, a dishwasher, a fridge, cup-boards and whatnot. There's also a huge living room with the dining room. So we can gather together with all the family to watch a film or just chat. And for that there are comfortable sofas with lots of cushions there. The dining room has a big oval table, so there's place for everyone.

I want to have a gym on the ground floor, too, because I love sport. The utility room is not far from the kitchen.

On the first floor everyone can enjoy their private time. There's a bedroom with a shower for me and bedrooms for each member of the family and two or three small rooms for guests. I also want to have a library upstairs. You know, a real library with high bookshelves and big armchairs where you can sit and enjoy a book.

Outside there's a big garden. And somewhere near the corner of the land there's a small fireplace for barbecue. With a loving view of the mountains this place is the nicest part.

Well, that's my dream house. Sure I have some more ideas about it.... I just hope I will get it one day.
