Let’s continue our lesson with a phonetic drill. Today we are going to practise the sound [s]. Look at me and repeat after me [s]-[s]-[s].

Look at the screen, here you can see a poem. At first, listen to my reading:

A sailor went to sea

To see what he could see,

And all he could see

Was sea, sea, sea.

Who can translate this poem?

Now I will check how well you have learned some grammar material. Look at the screen. Here you can see some sentences. Let`s read and translate these sentences.

• I am going to fly to Paris on Sunday
• I am going to play basketball on Sunday

Мы употребляем «  be going to ( am, is, are)», когда хотим мы хотим сказать о наших планах на будущее.

Now, children, make your sentences in notebooks.

Write what you are going to do on Sunday. These verbs can help you: swim, read, watch, play, ride, run, walk.

-Okay. Now look at the screen. Here you can see some sentences. Let`s read and translate these sentences.

• I enjoy playing football
• I enjoy reading a book

В английском языке после глагола « enjoy» употребляется друго смысловой глагол с окончанием «ing»

Now open your student books at page 18, exercise 2. Let`s read and translate the task. Now you are to listen to the text and try to guess the meaning of the new words. (No.9)

And now look at the pictures and translate the words under them.

Now look at  exercise 3 a) at page 18. Let`s read and translate the task. You are to describe Sally`s living and bedroom, using new words.
