1. Main structure of the lesson

1. Vocabulary sector

1. Repeat the words of the lesson after the teacher:

A school, a classroom, a library, a gym, a school hall, a floor

b)make up word combinations with the adjectives:

a beautiful school, a big classroom, a big library,

a beautiful school hall, a big gym

c) look at the pictures and read the words on the slides

d) learn to answer the question: What is this?

3. Group work

Divide the children of the class into 3 groups. The teacher gives each group the cards with the pictures on the lesson theme. The task to each group is: to glue the words given with the pictures to the correct picture. Then show the pictures to the class in order to say “true” or “false” and correct the mistakes. The children do the correction themselves.

4. Work with pictures

The children look at the pictures on the lesson theme which are on the magnate table. Every pupil comes to the blackboard and :

a) names the place of the school

b) finds on the teacher’s table the card with the suitable word

c) put the correct word onto the right picture

d) reads the word which was glued onto the picture

e) all the children in the class looks attentively at the blackboard

f) if a child finds a mistake, he or she comes to the blackboard and corrects it.

5. Pronounciational Sector

a) look at the Task (slide) and learn to read the words with the sounds: AR, OR

b) do the Task: put arrows to the correct word with the correct sound.

6. Work with the pictures
