Сценарий сказки:                       

                  Why   Hares   Have   Got   Long   Ears.  (уроки61-66)

ACT 1

The Hare:         Hello. I’m Brother Hare. I’m very little, but I’ve got a great wish. I want to

                           be  big. I want to be very, very clever. Who can help me?   Oh! I know!

                           My aunts Mammy and Bammy!  They are old. They are very, very clever!  

The Hare goes to his aunts.

  ACT 2                

The Hare:              Hello, Aunt Mammy! Hello, Aunt Bammy! How are you?

Aunt Mammy:      Hello, Brother Hare!

Aunt Bammy:       We are fine, thank you. And how are you?

The Hare:              I’m well. Aunt Mammy, Aunt Bammy, can you help me?

Aunt M& B:           What do you want?

The Hare:            I’ve got a great wish! I want to be very big. I want to be very, very clever.

The aunts talk with each other for a while.

Aunt Mammy:      We can help you if you do what we want.

The Hare:              Well. I’m ready.

Aunt Bammy:       Can you see those Birds in the tree?

The Hare:               Of course, I can.

Aunt Mammy:       We want to have those Birds. Get them for us!

The Hare:                Ok, I’ll do that!

The Hare goes away.

          ACT 3

The Hare takes a box, puts it on the table, shows the seeds and puts them into the box.

The Hare:       I've  got a box. Here are the seeds. Let’s put them into the box. Now I’m  

                       ready to catch the bird.

The Hare takes the box and goes to the tree where the Birds are.

The Bird 1:     Hello, Brother Hare!

The Bird 2:      Hello, Brother Hare!

The Hare:        Hello, Birds!

The Bird 1:      What do you have?

The Hare:        I’ve got a box.

The Bird 2:      And what  do you have in your box?

The Hare:        I’ve got many seeds in it. They are yellow, they are big, they are very,

                         very  nice!

The Bird 2:     And what do you want to do with these seeds?

The Hare:        I’m hungry and I want to eat them.

The Bird 1:    Oh! These seeds are so nice! And I’m hungry. I want to eat them, too.

The Bird 2:    Oh! I’m hungry, too! I want to eat the seeds, too!

The Hare:      If you want to eat these seeds then jump into this box!

The Bird 1 & 2:   With great pleasure!

The birds “ jump” into the box. The Hare closes the box and runs to his aunts.

The Hare:       Well done Brother Hare! Let’s run to my aunts Mammy and Bammy!

           ACT  4

The Hare comes to his aunts.

The Hare:           Hello, Aunt Mammy. Hello, Aunt Bammy!

Aunt Mammy:   Hello, Brother Hare! You look so happy.

Aunt Bammy:    What do you have in your  box?

The Hare:            Here are the Birds for you.

Aunt Mammy:   What nice Birds they are!

Aunt Bammy:    Thank you Brother Hare. Now you are clever but not very clever.

The Hare:            But I want to be very, very clever!

Aunt Mammy:    If you want to be very , very clever go and get the snake’s tooth for us.

The Hare:            Oh! The snake’s tooth!

Aunt Bammy:    Do you want to be very, very clever?

The Hare:            Of course, I do. I think I can get the snake’s tooth!

Aunt Mammy:   The snake lives near the lake.

Aunt Bammy:    Be careful, Brother Hare.

The Hare:           Ok. Bye, Aunt Mammy. Bye Aunt Bammy.

The Hare goes away.

            ACT  5

The Hare goes and thinks  how to get the snake’s tooth.

The Hare:   How can I get the snake’s tooth? Oh! I’ll take some gum and make a toy bird

                   out of the gum. The snake is hungry. She wants to eat it.

The Hare hides.The Snake appears.

The Snake:    I’m very, very hungry. I want to eat very much. Oh! What a nice bird!  

                       I want to eat it!

The Snake opens her mouth and bites the “bird”.

The Snake:  I can’t close my mouth! It’s awful! Help! Help me!

The Hare runs to the Snake and takes the Snake’s tooth.

The Hare:   I’ve got it! I’ve got it! It’s great! I’m clever! I’m very, very clever!

The Hare  jumps and jumps. He is happy. Then he runs to his aunts.

              ACT  6

The Hare comes to his aunts.

The Hare:   Hello, Aunt Mammy. Hello, Aunt Bammy! I’ve got the snake’s tooth for you!

                        Here it is!

Aunt Mammy:   Thank you, Brother Hare.

Aunt Bammy:     You are clever.

The Hare:           You see I can get everything. I can get birds! I can get snakes! I can ... I  

                             can...  I  can do everything! Now I’m big! I’m very, very big! I’m clever.

                           I’m very, very  clever!

Aunt Mammy:   Are you?

The Hare:           Of course, I am!

Aunt Bammy:   Really? But we don’t think so. We want to teach you a lesson.

Aunts take the Hare’s ears. They shake him.

.Aunt Mammy:        Don’t boast, Brother Hare!

Aunt Bammy:         Don’t boast!

The Hare:               Oh! My ears!  My ears! I won’t boast!

The aunts let the Hare’s ears.

The Hare:    Oh! My ears!  They got longer! Now I’ve got long ears!
