1. Hello, my name is Paul Sparks. I'm from Stratford. I have a daughter and a son. My daughter Mary doesn't go to school, she is only four. My son David is a pupil, he is twelve. We have a dog Daisy. My children like to play with her, and David takes her for a walk every morning. He likes sports, and they run and jump with Daisy a lot. Mary likes to sing, she knows a lot of beautiful songs. On Sunday, if the weather is nice, my wife and I ride bicycles in the park.

2. Last weekend I visited my grandparents on their farm. The weather was warm and sunny, so we could stay outdoors all day. In the morning I helped my grandpa to feed the horse. Then my grandparents and I went to ride our bicycles. My grandparents like sports, so we had a very good time! In the evening it became colder, so we stayed at home and had some tea with jam. My granny makes tasty cherry jam! We didn't watch TV, we talked. My grandparents told me a lot of interesting stories and showed me old pictures...

3. Kate: - Tom, can you help me to draw a picture?

Tom: - And then you'll help me with the shopping, right?

Kate: - Fine. I'll help you too. But first - the picture. Draw a farm house, please.

Tom: - Hm-hm ... Here it is.

Kate: - It's nice! You draw very well, Tom! Now two apple trees and two sheep.

Tom: - Sheep?.. Well, here they are, two apple trees and two sheep. Anything else, Kate? A horse? A dog maybe?

Kate: - Mm. Yes, draw a dog near the house, please!

Tom: - OK. Here you are. Do you think the picture is good enough?

Kate: - Yes, thank you Tom! I think my teacher will like it!

Tom: - Now, let's go shopping! I have to buy some butter and eggs, then.

John: - Hello, Jane! I'm great! Today is my favourite day at school.

Jane: - Really? Why do you like Thursday so much?

John: - We have maths and history today. I think those are the best subjects!

Jane: - Oh, I see. I like history too. But maths is difficult for me. I don't like to count.

John: - What is your favourite subject, Jane?

Jane: - I like art very much! Our teacher Mrs Wilson can draw very well and she tells us a lot of interesting things about painters...

John: - Oh, Jane, the lessons will start soon! We mustn't be late!

Jane: - You are right, John! Bye, see you after classes!

John: - Bye, Jane! Have a nice day!
