      We have an unusual lesson. You are my students again and I`m your teacher. My name is Tatiana Alexandrovna.

Do you know that Sunday will a special day?

What will people celebrate on the 27th of November?

Let`s talk how to show our moms how much we love them.

Mother`s Day

Emmy and Mom are  planting flowers.

“Sunday is a special day,” – says Mom.

 “I know”, - says Emmy – We don`t have to go to school.

Dad and Harry are  watching TV.

“Sunday will be a very fun day, “- says  Mom.

“Yes,” – says  Harry, There`s a great baseball game on TV!

Oliver and Rover (собака) are  playing outside.

Mom tossed (кинула)  the ball to Rover too. “Do you know what Sunday is?” –  she  asks  Oliver.

“Yes, - says Oliver proudly. Sunday is the day after Saturday.

Poor Mom! Sunday was Mother`s day!  But  no one in the family remembered. (помнит)

On Sunday the kids wake up early.

“Let`s surprise Mom with breakfast”, - says  Emmy.

She thinks we forget (забыли) about Mother`s Day.

Emmy and Dad are  making blueberry pancakes (оладьи с голубикой). Harry get a maple  syrup (кленовый сироп). Oliver put some pretty flowers in a vase. Then they carried (отнесли)   her breakfast upstairs (наверх).

“Happy Mother`s Day!” – cry  everyone. But Mom isn`t in her room.

“I`m home,” – says  Mom. The children and Dad run  downstairs ( вниз).

“Where are  you?” – asks  Emmy.

I go out to buy some bagels”, - says  Mom.  I  want a special Mother`s Day  breakfast.

And that is just what I got!

 Let`s watch video once again. Take our Mother`s Day Dictionary. What do kids and Dad do for their Mom?

Now let`s work in groups. Класс делится на три группы. Каждый ученик в группе получает текст, в котором описывается семья, члены, семьи, их внешность, характер, хобби. Ребята вместе  должны найти ответ на следующие три вопроса и написать ответы на лист. Далее по очереди представители каждой группы выходят к доске прикрепляют на доску свои ответы и отвечают.

     My name is Max and I`m twelve. I live in London, UK. I haven’t got a big family. I`ve got a brother, a father and a mother. We live in a nice house. My brother`s name is John. He`s short and he`s got curly fair hair and brown eyes. He`s shy. My dad Ben is tall and slim. He`s got short hair and grey eyes. He`s very serious, but he`s kind. His interests are sport and computers. He`s a football fan. My mother`s name is Liza.  She`s short and she`s got long straight dark hair and brown eyes. She is very clever. Her interests are reading books  and travelling.

     My name is Alice. I`m eleven. I live in Oxford, UK. I`ve got a big family. I`ve got a sister, a mother and a father. We live in a big flat. My sister`s name is Lucy. She`s 16. She`s short and slim. She`s got green eyes and curly hair. She likes listening to music and dancing. My dad`s name is Roger. He`s tall and slim. He`s got short curly hair and grey eyes. He likes cars and football. My mother`s name is Anna. She`s tall and slim. She`s got dark curly hair and green eyes. And she`s got glasses. She`s friendly and kind.  Her hobby is cooking. My favorite food is pasta. It`s fantastic!

She`s short and slim. She has red, straight hair and grey eyes. She works at the zoo. She cooks food for the animals and cleans their living spaces. My mom likes her work. She`s very brave, kind and open! She likes collecting cards with cats.

  Answer the questions about Moms:

What does she like to do?

Now, tell me about your mother.

Look at our Mother`s  Day dictionary. What can we do else for our Moms?

Can we send a message? Can we buy jewellery?  But we can  make a card! We need a paper and markers.

Gingerbread to ease my fears. (Имбирными пряниками, уносящими мои страхи.)

You gave the gift of life to me (Ты дала дар жизни мне)

And then in love, you set me free. (И затем, любя, дала мне свободу.)

I thank you for your tender care, (Спасибо тебе за нежную заботу,)

For deep warm hugs and being there. (За крепкие теплые объятия и присутствие.)

I hope that when you think of me (Я надеюсь, когда ты подумаешь о мне)

A part of you (Частицу себя)

You'll always see. (Ты увидишь всегда.)

     And so, on Mother`s Day we let her sleep in,  give her breakfast in bed,  we write cards for her and get her little gifts and we try to do all to show her how we love her!
