WHAT DO THESE SIGNS MEAN?

Данный урок «WHAT DO THESE SIGNS MEAN?» является вводным   раздела  “How Do You Treat the Earth” (Unit 4, учебник В.П.Кузовлев 7 класс).

Цели:

1. Познавательные: знакомство с экологическими знаками, принятыми в англоязычных странах, с тем, как жители этих стран заботятся о природе, знакомство с понятиями и реалиями: three R’s Alf;
2. Развивающие:  развитие способности к сравнению, умозаключению;
3. Воспитательные: воспитание уважительного отношения к природе, воспитание бережливости;
4. Учебные: формирование лексических навыков чтения и говорения; развитие умения аудировать с целью извлечения конкретной информации.

Оснащение урока (технические средства обучения): компьютер; компьютерный проектор;  компьютерные слайды; магнитофон; аудиокассета; раздаточный материал.

Речевой материал:

1) Yes, you are right. Today we’ll speak about nature, environment, Ecology, how to help nature and wildlife. we’ll  talk about what we can do to help nature. Today we’ll listen to the text and will learn how Americans help the Earth and what they do to protect it.

You must follow there signs in your everyday life. If you act properly you will help nature. If you don’t you will do it harm. You know enough words to speak about it.

Make your own sentences as in the example.

If people keep off the grass, they don’t damage nature.

A lot of Americans say that they have voluntarily recycled newspapers, glass, aluminum cans, plastic

bottles and containers in recent years. The Procter & Gamble Company has begun putting its products in bottles made of recycled plastics. McDonalds recycles plastic containers for food. Recyclers usually buy products which they can reuse or recycle. They usually use cloth towels and napkins.
