    тест по английскому языку (6 класс) по теме

     

    Современная школа активно перешла на систему экзамена для учащихся 9-х классов - Государственная Итоговая Аттестация. По результатам ГИА по английскому языку  проходит зачисление в 10 класс профильного направления. Задания для ГИА по английскому языку  9-х классов создаются сотрудниками Федерального института педагогических измерений (ФИПИ)
     

    Подготовку к Экзаменам следует начинать  с начальной школы.

    Предлагаемые упражнения предназначены для подготовки к экзамену по английскому языку в форме ЕГЭ, а также к вступительным экзаменам в вуз. Будет полезно тем, кому предстоит сдавать не только письменный, но и устный экзамен.
    В пособие включены все темы в соответствии с вопросами в экзаменационных билетах. Разнообразные практические упражнения помогут закрепить знание правил английского  языка, повысить грамотность.
    Книга может быть использована на занятиях по английскому языку в общеобразовательной школе.

    Экзамен по английскому языку  можно отнести к экзаменам средней сложности. И,хотя, это необязательный экзамен, ежегодно его выбирают около 10% учащихся. Он необходим для поступления на англоязычное отделение филологического факультета, которое готовит преподавателей и переводчиков, а также для получения некоторых других специальностей.

    Процент учеников, не справляющихся с тестированием, достаточно низок – 3-5%, средний балл – 55-62 из 100 возможных.

    Read the text about Catherine and write if the statements below are true (T) or false (F).

    Catherine was five years old. She often went to the shops with her mother. She liked toys very much, and she often stopped and looked at them in the shops, but her mother usually said,

    « Don’t stop and look at the toys today, Catherine. It’s late».

    Catherine’s mother did not usually go to the shops on Saturdays, because she always had a lot of work at home on that day, but last Friday evening her husband said, «Some of my friends are going to visit us on Sunday», and she didn’t have much food in the house.

There were only men round Catherine, and they were all much taller than she was.

    Catherine was very young, but she was a clever girl. She did not cry. There was a policeman in the middle of the street near the shop. Catherine waited at the side of the road for a minute, and then the policeman stopped the cars and the buses. Catherine went to him and said, «Good morning. Have you seen any ladies in this street this morning? »

    «Yes, I have», the policeman said. «A lot of ladies have passed me this morning».

    «And has one passed you without a small girl? » Catherine said.

    «Yes, » the policeman said.

    How We Kept Mother’s Day

    I think celebrating «Mother’s Day» once a year is a very good idea. So we decided to have a special celebration of ........(1). We thought it a fine idea.     I am Alice. I am in my sitting room at home, talking to my teacher on the radio. Yes, I am at school!

    I live in the middle of Australia, a long way from any towns or cities, so I belong to the School of the Air. Students from all over Australia belong to such school. Every day, I start at half past eight. I have two hours of radio lessons and sometimes I watch lessons on TV. After that, I have three hours of homework, then I have free time.

    I don't mind going to school in the sitting room — it's fun! I like using the radio. I like Geography because I'm interested in learning about foreign countries and I like talking to my Geography teacher about her visits to Europe, Asia and America. I also like History lessons. Unfortunately, we don't have sport lessons.

    I am Magnus. I go to Green Street School in Portland, the USA. We get to school by bus.

    Our school is quite big. There are about 1,500 students. I don't mind going to school. The lessons aren't very difficult for me. Our lessons start at half past eight. We usually have five or six 45-minute lessons. I am interested in science and computer studies. I usually get good grades in these subjects and I don't mind having tests in English and Literature.

    I like my school. I am good at sport. I like playing ball games, especially baseball, football and basketball. We don't have uniform in our school and we don't study foreign languages. Some schools in Portland teach Spanish and German. I would like to study German.

    I usually come home after 3 p.m. and go to the local stadium to play baseball with my friends.

    Aesop lived in Greece more than two thousand years ago. He was the servant of a rich man. He made up little stories about man and animals and told them to his friends. Each story had a moral.

    Everybody liked hearing the stories he told. A little story with a moral is called a fable. Mothers and fathers told Aesop's stories to their children. Travelers heard the fables in Greece and told them in other countries.

    From the 15th century Aesop's fables were translated into French, English and German. In Russia, they were translated during the time of Peter the Great.

    Aesop became famous all over the world and his fables are still told today they draw people's attention to what is bad and help people become better.
