CHRISTMAS.

Pupil1-Christmas is one of English traditions. It is a very merry holiday

P2-Christmastime begins in November.

P3-All the shops are open every day. People go shopping.

P4- They buy New Year trees, presents, toys and decorations.

                       Dialogue:    1.Shop assistant: Can I help you?

                            2. Customer: Yes, please. I’d like a gift for my friend.

1. Look  here , please.
2. I want to buy this….

1. Here you are.

      2. Thank you.

      1. You are welcome.

P5-Friends organize parties every Saturday. They are in different houses. P6-Children play, dance and communicate each other.

 ( Music sounds. Pupils dance.)

P7-Children write letters to Santa Clouse.

P8-They promise to be good next year. They ask  Santa  to give them presents.

Girl reads: Dear Santa……

Boy reads: I was not good this year. I promise you to get only good marks at school next year.

Girl: I want a nice new doll. Dear Santa, could you give it to me?

P9-The Christmas Eve is before the 25-Th of December.

P10-There is a New Year tree in every house. The family  decorates  it.

(The  family near the tree):

Dialogue:

                  Girl: Let’s decorate our tree.

                  Boy: I’ll put this toy on it.

                Girl: I’d like to put on the tree this brilliant ball.

               Father: Our tree is nice!

              Mother : It’s very beautiful.

              Boy: Will we light it?

              Father: Yes, of course!

(They light the tree.)

P11-There is a fire place in every house. Children put their stockings near it. They want Father Frost to put presents for them in the stockings.

(Children put stockings that they have made before the party).

P12-When the tree is decorated everybody puts presents for family members and friends under the tree.

(They put presents).

P13-All the family is at home. Nobody works. They celebrate Christmas.

“Son”: My Mum cooked the turkey! It’s a traditional dish on the holiday table.

“Daughter”: And pudding is there too!

“Son”: And many sweets, soft drinks and snacks! I like them.

“Daughter”: Granny made a big cake! It is yummy.

“Mother”:Let’s sit down and celebrate the holiday!  We’ll eat turkey at first and then sweets, cake and cookies. Good appetite!

                 Праздник  Рождества. 

                                         Деловая игра.

Цель:  Учиться использовать в ходе игры  изученный материал в речевых упражнениях.

Задачи:

1. Создать у школьников праздничное настроение.

2. Ознакомить с английскими  традициями.

3. Закрепить и активизировать в речи учащихся изученный языковой материал.

Участники: обучающиеся в 6 классе.

Время и место проведения: Неделя иностранного языка

(11-16 февраля), учебный кабинет.

МЕТОДИЧЕСКАЯ ПОДГОТОВКА:

1. Составление сценария праздника.

2. Распределение ролей ведущих и участников игры.

3. Подбор реквизита (ёлка, игрушки,  гирлянда).

4. Покупка и подпись открыток с пожеланиями    друзьям.

5. Оформление «магазина сувениров».

6. Написание писем Санта Клаусу.

7. Пошив новогодних «носков».

8. Подготовка подарков-- сувениров всем участникам праздника.

9. Подготовка праздничного стола (индейка, пудинг, конфеты, печенье, лимонад).

10. Репетиция с ведущими и участниками праздника.

11. Подбор музыки на  компакт-дисках для танцевальных   пауз праздника.
