Тема: "Royal Family Quiz"

Задачи:

• приблизить речевую деятельность учащихся к естественным нормам
• закрепить пройденный материал в неформальной обстановке
• помочь учащимся развить навык иноязычной речевой компетенции
• обеспечить практическую направленность обучения
• повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка

Цель игры:

• развитие иноязычной речевой компетенции по теме: "Royal Family Quiz"

- Hello, boys and girls! Sit down, please.

- Today we`re going to play the game "Star Hour". Our theme is "Royal Family". Do you know the members of this famous family?

Цель: - активизировать умственно-речевую деятельность учащихся (3 вопроса - 30 секунд, правильный ответ - 1 балл)

1. Who is the Head of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland? (Queen Elizabeth II.)

2. When did she ascend to the throne?

(She ascended to the throne after her father`s death in 1952. She was crowned in Westminster Abbey in June1953.)

(She was educated at home with Princess Margaret, her younger sister. She studied constitutional history, law, art, music, learned to ride.)
