Задачи и цели урока.

1.              Практиковать учащихся в разговорной и устной речи с использованием знакомой лексики. Научить пользоваться компьютером с целью облегчения работу учителя и учащихся при обучении английскому языку.

2.              Активизировать употребление в речи учащихся Present Perfect Tense.Практиковать устную речь учащихся в диалогической и монологической форме.

3.              Воспитательные задачи. Научить любить и уважать традиции родного края и зарубежных стран. Выработать внимательность, дисциплинированность, воспитать активность, самостоятельность, инициативность в выполнении упражнений с использованием компьютера.

«London Sightseeing Tour»

Задачи и цели урока.

  1. Практиковать учащихся в разговорной и устной речи с использованием знакомой лексики. Научить пользоваться компьютером с целью облегчения работу учителя и учащихся при обучении английскому языку.

Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент.

Good morning, everybody!

Т: How are you?

P: We are fine (well, o’key). And what about you?

T: So we are. What is the weather like today?

P: The weather is fine today. The sky is blue, the sun is shining brightly.lt will be very pleasant to see the sights of London in such weather.

  1. Основная часть.

Т. Сегодня у нас необычный урок. Интегрированный урок (т.е. урок английского языка+урок информатики). Урок путешествие По достопримечательностям города Лондона. “ London sightseeing tour”.

Т:Ребята, ответьте, пожалуйста, на мой вопрос :какие достопримечательности Лондона вы знаете? Давайте назовем их.

Ch: Big Ben, Trafalgar Square JPiccadilly Circus, National Gallery, Tower of London, Statue of Admiral Nelson, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Hide Park, London Zoo, St. Paul’ Cathedral and so on.

T: O’Key.You are right

P2:0h, it’s very beautiful. Their dresses are nice. Let’s stay here and look at them a little.

Jane: We have just turned left and you can see St. James’s Park. It is one of the royal parks. Here you can see pelicans and ducks. There a lot of parks, gardens in London. In Regent’s Park there is the London Zoo. It is one of the biggest zoos in the world.

P4:1 have never been to Zoos and haven’t seen exotic animals such as hippopotamus, giraffes and kangaroos and so on. May I feed them?

Betty: No, you can’t do it. In every zoo there are some rules such as:

1: Don’t feed animals.

2: Don’t bring to the zoo food, ice-creams and so on.

3: Don’t speak loudly.

P4:1 am sorry. I haven’t known these rules. For the future I’ll keep these rules.

T:Well. Let us continue our tour.

Jane: In front of you can see the Houses of  Parliament and Big Ben. The Houses of Parliament is the seat of the British government. Big Ben is one of the most famous clocks in the world.

P2: May I recite a poem about Big Ben?

T: Yes, you may. P2:

This is Big Ben Big Ben is a clock Day and night With all its might Big Ben the clock

Says: Tick-Tock.

T: Oh, we are in the British Museum.

Kate: The British Museum is one of the largest museums in the world. It consists of the National Library and Museum of History, Archeology, Art and Ethnography. Karl Marx and Vladimir Ilyich Lenin worked in the Reading Room of the British Museum.

Olga: In a moment you will the Westminster Abbey. It is a royal church. Here you can see the tombs of many British Kings and queens and other famous people and the beautiful Henry VII Chapel.

T: Now we are crossing Tower Bridge over the river Thames.

Olga: From here you can see the Tower of London. It was a fortress, a royal palace and later a prison. It is a museum now. There are a lot of interesting collections in the Tower of London.

The ravens are another famous sight. The legend says that without them the Tower of London will fall.

Nancy: Earlier in our tour we saw a famous royal church, Westminster Abbey. We are making our way to next famous St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is the greatest work of the architect Sir Christopher when.

Now look at the blackboard. Let’s listen to the tape- recorder.

Т: Well, I’ll check your words.

  3. You        are wrong. You’ve missed a letter A( B, J ,C and so on)

O’key! Now I see that you know these words.

T2: Ребята, вы сегодня очень хорошо печатали знакомые вам слова. Теперь я вижу, что вы умеете обращаться с компьютером. Очень хорошо! Сегодня я вас хвалю. А теперь закройте Microsoft word.

Т: Let’s begin our tour. For the beginning we must to introduce to each other.

You are die delegation from Tuva, aren’t you?

Ch: Yes, we are.

T: My name is Mrs. Smith. I’ll be your guide and they are my helpers: Tom, Nick, Mary, Nancy, Olga.

PI :Nice to meet you! My name is Chayan, Buyan, Idam, Aldynai.

T: Nice to meet you too!

Tom: We welcome you to London! Let’ take a bus. This is our double-decker. Tourists always use it for their tours. A bus with two passenger decks especially a red bus of this type in London.

T: Let’s continue our tour with some information about London.

of people come here every morning to work in large offices. Now we are in the East End. This is the poorest part of London where people of all colours live.

Kate: And now we are in the West End. This part is best-known to rich tourists. And here there are many famous sights. They are: The Tower Bridge, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and so on.

T: You’ll see all these places and much more of London from our red double- decker.

P3: Oh, we know a lot about London from our textbook, TV programmes, films, newspapers and magazines. But want to know and see them with our own eyes. By the way there is a proverb: “It’s better to see once with your own eyes than hear hundred of times”.

Kate:Oh, well! You’ll see them soon. It will be interesting.

T: We start from Trafalgar Square.

Nancy: Trafalgar Square is in the centre of West End of London. On the column in the centre there is a Statue of Admiral Nelson who defeated the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. To the left of us you can see the National Gallery. It has a fine collection of European paintings.

P2:1 read a lot about Admiral Nelson. But I have never seen his statue. It is very high and beautiful.

T: Now we are coming to Piccadilly Circus. It is the meeting point of six streets.

Tom: We are in Piccadilly. It is a square in the Central Part of London. London’s best-known theatres and cinemas and famous restaurants are on Piccadilly Circus. In the square you can see people of many nationalities and a lot of different languages.

T: Look right We are passing Hyde Park.

Nick: Hyde Park is the largest park in the West End of London. In the 19th century it became a popular place for public gathering of all kinds. In the park any one can stand up and say what they want. There are many things to do in Hyde Park. You can hire a boat on the Serpentine Lake, cycle or rollerblade along one of the special paths, play tennis and so on.

P1: Can’t everybody tell everything what he wants?

T: Yes, of course.

PI: Let’s tell about our republic in this park. Tuva is situated in the very centre of Asian continent.Tuva is split in 17 regions( kozhuns) and borders on Mongolia, Buryatia, Khakasia, Irkutsk, Krasnoyask and Altai. The population of Tuva consists of 306.000 people.The Flora and Fauna of Tuva is very rich. Tuva is called of country of blue rivers and lakes. The capital of Tuva is Kyzyl. Have you ever been to Tuva?

Tom: Yes, I was in Tuva in 1998. Tuva is a very beautiful republic. I liked very much. I liked Tuvan traditions, people, mountains and other things.

P3:Oh,well. I’d like to sing Tuvan throat song.

Nick: We liked it! It is original! It is super!

P3: It is our throat song “ Khoomei”.Khoomei is a traditional tuvan throat song which expresses spirit of tuvan people. This book is about it. It’s my present for you.

Nick: Thank you very much. I shall read it as soon as I can.

T: It is time to continue our tour.

Lena: Now we are at Buckingham Palace. It is the London home of the Queen. When the flag is flying on the top she is at home. Look, they are changing the Guard. It happens every day at 11.30.

T: Now we are going along Fleet Street to the Strand. On the right you’ll see Covent Garden. It was a big fruit and vegetable market. It is now a tourist shopping centre with cafes and restaurants. We’ll stop here so that you can go shopping.

Our tour is coming to an end. I hope you have enjoyed this tour of London very much.
