Washington monument This monument was built in honour of George Washington. It is 555 feet tall and provides a panoramic view of Washington D.C.

The Capitol is surrounded by a beautiful garden with many trees and flowers. It is the tallest building in Washington D.C.

The White House is an important part of Washington D.C. It is where the President lives and works. The White House has 132 rooms. Visitors may tour some of the first-floor rooms; second floor is the home for the President and his family.

The Jefferson Memorial It was built in honour of Thomas Jefferson. Inside is a 19-foot statue of T.Jefferson standing on 6-foot pedestal.
