Проведение мероприятия в 8 классах в рамках недели иностранных языков.

«Популярный мультипликационный сериал в Англии».

Дата и время проведения:

8 б класс – 01.03.2016 на 5 уроке (просьба участников прийти на мероприятие сразу после 4 урока).

8 а класс – 01.03.2016 на 6 уроке (заранее приходить не нужно, но придется задержаться после).

Необходимое оборудование:

Проектор, белая доска, по возможности - микрофоны.

Этапы проведения:

- Каждый участник при входе вытягивает билет в «кинотеатр» и садится согласно указанному месту (разделение на группы).

- Обсуждение темы. Ребята высказывают свои предположения (на билетах подсказки).

- Участники в своих группах заполняют карточки. Задача – ответить на три вопроса, например, предположив, кто может быть в главной роли (мальчик, девочка, животное) и т.д. самого популярного мультипликационного сериала в Англии.  Заполненные карточки собирают учителя.

-Учитель дает краткую информацию о данном сериале и предлагает по командам восстановить скрипты к одной серии.

- Далее ученики смотрят мультфильм (11 минут). В это время учителя проверяют, какая команда лучше всего справилась с восстановлением скриптов и заполнением карточки.

- После просмотра мультика, команда, справившаяся лучше всех с предыдущими заданиями, получает право первой выбрать любое задание.

- Задание 1-2: две группы озвучивают мультфильм в живую (каждая по половине мультика-около 6 минут).

- Задание 3: сделать киноафишу.

- Задание 4: сделать review- обложку к диску.

- Командам дается 20-25 минут для выполнения задания.

- Демонстрация работ: 1- киноафиша, 2- просмотр мультфильма с озвучкой ребят, 3- обложка к диску.

I’m pleased to welcome you to our special lesson! I’d like to hear your ideas about what we are going to do and discuss today.

We are going to watch one of the most popular animated television series in the UK, based on the book series by Francesca Simon. It was published in 23 languages. Actually, it keeps the second place after Harry Potter.

You’ll have two small tasks before we watch this cartoon. The team with the best result gets the right to choose the main task.  

Each group has a card on the desk. You are to name your team. Since the theme of our lesson is cartoons, it is a good idea to name it after some cartoon you really like.  There are also 2 questions in your card. Of course, you don’t know the correct answers, but we want to test your intuition.  You have 1 minute to discuss and answer.

This story is about a boy who always gets in trouble at home and at school. His nickname is Horrid.  He’s got a brother Peter. Can you guess his brother’s nickname? Perfect.

Now you’ll get the scripts of one small episode. Your task is to reconstruct these scripts in order to get some logical story. You have 5 minutes to complete this task.

It’s fun time now! Enjoy the cartoon!

We have checked your answers. And the group named “..” can choose any task they want.

One task is to voice the first part of this cartoon. Another one is to voice the second part.

We have two more tasks: to make a trailer, and the last one to make a DVD cover.

Which one would you like?

You have about 20 minutes for your tasks.

There are small cards on your desks. Write down one name on this card. Who is the best actor?

Write down as many adjectives as you can while listening to your classmates.

Henry: I’m home! You’re supposed to make that noise upstairs in your room.  Didn’t you hear me, worm? I’m going to watch Mutant Max!

Peter: No, you aren’t! There is no telly tonight!

Henry: No telly? What did I do wrong this time?

Peter: Nothing. Mum’s new boss is coming for dinner.

Henry: Cool, we always get pudding when people come to dinner. Hope it’s chocolate mousse. I’m going to check out pudding… Yes, chocolate mousse, my favourite.

Dad: Oh, no! Henry?

Henry: Do I have to clean the floor?

Dad: Yes, and the walls as well. I want these place spotless for the Mossys. And Henry, it’s a grown-ups only evening. You’ll be in bed when they arrive.

Henry: In bed?

Peter: But I’m staying up to play the cello.

Henry: That’s not fair! Dad, please can I stay up for dinner?

Dad: After last time? No way!

Henry: That was ages ago. I was younger then.

Dad: Ah! Dinner is served! Aagh!

No, no!

Henry: I’m more grown up now. I promise to behave.

Dad: You’re going to bed early tonight, Henry.

Henry: It’s not fair, not fair, not fair. It’s still not fair!

Mum: What are you cooking tonight, dear?

Dad: Salmon with lime and ginger and a…chocolate Mousse for dessert.

Henry: Mum, I’m really looking forward to meeting the Mossys tonight.

Mum: Nice try, Henry!

Henry: But it’s not fair. Peter gets to stay up, and you’re having chocolate mousse. I love chocolate mousse.

Mum: Mr. Mossy wants to hear Peter play the cello… and then it’s off to bed for him as well.

Peter: I’m rather looking forward to an early night. I understand that grown-ups need to be by themselves sometimes.

Henry: Grrrrrrr!

Peter: Aagh!

Mum: Don’t be Horrid, Henry! Stop it! Go to your room!

Henry: I won’t! I want to stay up! I want chocolate mousse! I want…

Mum: Upstairs now! And don’t come out until I tell you.

Peter: The dinner guests are here!

Dad: Oh, no! The mousse…. I’ll have to make another one. Good evening!

Mrs. Mossy: Hello!

Peter: Delighted to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Mossy. I’m Peter.

Mrs. Mossy: What a journey. Put Hercules down dear.

Cat: Meow.

Henry: Look, Fluffy, a nice big tasty mouse….

Mrs. Mossy: Hercules! Help my poor baby!

Henry: This should help Peter’s cello sound better.

Mrs. Mossy: Poor Hercules. There…there, mommy will protect you. They really ought to keep that wild beast locked up.

Henry: It’s just not fair! I’m stuck here while they’re all having fun… Chocolate mousse. Well if they won’t invite me to dinner, I’m inviting me to dinner. Perfect! Dinner is served! Oh, oh. Peter doesn’t play that well.

Mr. Mossy: Someone has tampered with your music, Peter.

Henry: Atta, boy. Sorry, but it’s the last one. Yikes!

Dad: …And it’s such a lovely neighborhood for kids to grow up in. oh erh!

Mr. Mossy: Hercules! Bad dog! I must apologize, has he eaten them all?

Dad: Don’t worry, it was just a few nuts. I didn’t know they could jump that high.

Mr. Mossy: Neither did I. He must enjoy a challenge.

Henry: Got to be careful. Time for operation Grisly Grub. There’re gonna love this!

Mum: Henry, you’re supposed to be upstairs!

Henry: But I want to meet Mr and Mrs Bossy, crisp?

Mrs. Mossy: How sweet.

Mum: Mossy, not Bossy.

Henry: But Mum, isn’t that what you always call them?

Mum: Peter, get Mrs Mossy a drink!

Peter: Right away, Mum.

Mrs Mossy: Yuck! Are you trying to poison me?

Dad: Oh dear, come on Mrs Mossy, let’s get you cleaned up.

Mum: And you boys, go to bed!

Peter: Certainly. Good night Mr Mossy. I hope Mrs Mossy gets better soon.

Mr Mossy: Grisly Gruben? Haven’t seen one of these in a long time. I dare you.

Henry: Yuck!

Mum: Henry! You know it’s rude to burp!

Henry: But it…It was an accident.

Mum: And anyway, you’re supposed to be in bed.

Mr. Mossy: Oh, what a shame. We’ve had a performance by Peter. How about Henry? Surely you can do something too Henry?

Henry: Oh yeah. I can do karate. Hiaa… Whoa!

Dad and Mum: No…

Mr. Mossy: Very good. But I have my own special martial art – Mossykido.

Mum: Bedtime, Henry.

Henry: Come on, Hercules. I need your help. Fluffy.

Mum: I thought you were in bed!

Henry: I just wanted to say goodnight to Mr and Mrs Mossy.

Mum: Oh, thank you, Henry.

Dad: The salmon!

Mrs. Mossy: Come along Hercules, we’re leaving.

Mum: Mr Mossy I apologize for our son. Please don’t fire me from my job.

Mr. Mossy: Fire you?  Why on earth would I do that? Best fun I’ve had in years.

Mum: But, but…

Mr. Mossy: Most dinner parties are so boring. But this was definitely not boring. Perhaps you should say your goodbyes to Mrs Mossy.

Mum: I ..er..yes, of course.

Dad: Mrs Mossy! Won’t you at least stay for some chocolate mouse?

Mr. Mossy: Don’t worry my boy. When I was your age my nickname was Terrible Timothy.

Henry: Really?

Mr. Mossy: You’ll get punished for this.

Henry: Yeah…

Mr. Mossy: Yeah, me too. You’re good Henry. But as I found out as I grew older, there’s always someone better than you.

Henry: No one is better than Horrid Henry!
