Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку в 8д классе

Викторина «Great Britain»

Дата проведения: 09.11.2017г.

Время проведения: 45 минут.

Цели викторины:

• обобщение изученного материала по теме «Великобритания»; 
• совершенствование навыков устной речи; 
• актуализация страноведческого материала.

Задачи викторины:

• способствовать формированию социокультурной компетенции учащихся;
• повысить интерес к изучению иностранного языка;
• развитие познавательного интереса учащихся;
• развитие способности командной работы.

Этапы викторины:

1. Начало викторины. Организационный момент. Участники делятся на команды, выбирается жюри. Отводится 2 минуты для придумывания названий команд.
2. Выполнение заданий.
3. Подведение итогов викторины. Награждение команд.

Игра дает возможность участвовать в викторине каждому участнику. Вопросы задает ведущий. На обдумывание каждого вопроса отводится 20 секунд. У участников есть одна подсказка – помощь жюри.

За каждый правильный ответ команде начисляется 1 очко. Выигрывает команда, набравшая большее количество очков.

В конце игры объявляется команда победителей.

Состав участников:

игроки трех команд (по 3 человека от каждой команды), 2 члена жюри и 1 ведущий (учитель).

Ход мероприятия

— Hello, my dear boys and girls! All children like to play. That's why we shall play the game "Auction" today. There are two teams in our classroom and we have three members of our jury today. The first team is called ... , and its captain is ... . The 2nd team is called, and its captain is… The members of our jury are: ....

— Now listen to the rules of our auction. It consists of 4 themes, each of them includes 5 questions. These questions deal with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

You have 30 seconds to discuss the answers.

- What is your answer?

- It's right (wrong) ... and you've got your 1st point today.

- The next question will be… -  ... (answer)

-So. The final score is ... . Let's congratulate the winners. Please, go to the jury to get your prize!

-Thank you for the game! Thanks to our jury for their work!
