   Hello! My name is Alice Wayne. I am twelve years old. Last summer I was in the country. My granny has a big house there. When the weather was hot I flew a kite, rode (ride –rode) my bike and swam in the river. When it was cold and rainy I stayed in the house, we played chess, listened to music and watched TV.

   In September I went to a new school. I really liked it. I am in the 6th form now. Usually I have six or seven lessons a day. We study a lot of subjects: Science, Biology, Rhetoric, I.T. and other. But there are some new subjects in our timetable this year: Drama, Geography and French. I get good and excellent marks at school, sometimes I get bad marks too.

   I really enjoy Science. We do experiments and learn interesting facts about people. I also like Drama, because we act out short stories. I don’t like Rhetoric, it’s so boring! At school we must wear a special uniform – a jacket, trousers (or skirts) and a white shirt (or blouse). I think I love my school, but I don’t have a lot of friends there. I love our teachers too. My favourite teacher is Mr. Cole. He is a teacher of P.E.
