по теме «Why do we use computers for communication?»

Цели урока:

1. Образовательная: активизация  навыков чтения и устной речи по теме «Средства связи» работа над усвоением лексики  
2.  Развивающая:развитие аналитических способностей учащихся: умение анализировать, сопоставлять,  делать выводы.
3.  Воспитательная:  развивать умение аргументировать,  уважать мнение одноклассников.

Оборудование:презентация «Why do we use computers for communications?»

I. Организационный момент:

- Good morning, my dear boys and girls Good morning, good morning!

Good morning to you!

Good morning, dear children!

I am glad to see you!

(Good morning, good morning!

Good morning to you!

Good morning, dear teacher!

We are glad to see you!)

Let's continue to speak about different means  of communications. Guess what mean of communications we'll have a talk about? (1 слайд ). Учащиеся рассматривают 1 слайд и делают вывод о теме урока.

• We shall have a talk about the role of computers in the life of people.

• We'll learn new words, read different opinions about a role of a computer and make your own opinion about it.

II.Работа с лексикой:

- It's time to look at the blackboard. Let's read the words in the first (second) column. Read the words loudly and in a whisper. Work in pairs and listen to each other. Make up the word

combinations using these words.

fax message, phone call, electronic system, to receive information, to send messages, printed letters, to use the Internet, etc.

Правильность составления словосочетаний проверяется с помощью слайда.

• П Активизация диалогической речи:

Let's answer my questions.

- Do you have a telephone? (Yes, I do.)

- Do you like talking on the phone? Why? (I like talking on the phone because it helps me to relax.)

- Mike, with whom do you usually talk on the phone? (I usually talk with my friends on the phone.)

- What do you talk with your friends about on the phone? (We talk about sports news on the phone.)

- Tanya, do you like talking on the phone? (No, I don't. If I talk on the phone I have no time to do my homework and help my parents.)

- Lisa, do you agree that talking on the phone is a waste of time? (I agree with this statement. Besides, when you talk on the phone you can't see the eyes of the person you are speaking to.)

- Pavel, is it important for you to see the eyes of the person you are speaking to? Can we receive useful information talking on the phone? Etc.

• Well done. Thank you very much.

5. Контроль домашнего задания.
6. - Now be ready to control your homework. Tell me about advantages and disadvantages of talking on the phone. (Учащиеся  рассказывают о преимуществах и недостатках разговоров по телефону)

Практика устной речи .

8. - We can communicate with each other by different ways. We do this by sending pieces of information to our partners. Let's match the pairs. Will you open your books at page 26 and do ex. 82.  ( 3 слайд). (Учащиеся составляют соответствующие  пары слов, проверяют с помощью слайда).
9. - Children, do ex.83, page 26. ( 4 слайд) Match the words and the descriptions.

Записывают правильные ответы в тетради.. Проверка осуществляется с помощью слайда.

6. - I see you are tired. Please, do our exercises.

• Up, down. Up, down.

• Which is the way to London town?

• Where?Where? Up in the air.

• Close your eyes and you are there.

• VII. .Введение и фонетическая отработка новой лексики по теме“Компьютер» и ее  первичное закрепление в письменной речи.

(5 слайд)

• What parts does a computer consist of?  I'd like you  to look at the screen and learn some new words. You can see words and pictures for them. Let's read them one by one. (exercise 84, page 26). Учащиеся  читают слова за учителем хором, индивидуально, в парах, записывают слова в словари.

• I want you to open your workbooks and do ex.1, page24

8. Активизация  монологической речи.
9. - Now we are going to read what some people think about computers.(ex .85, p a g e 27). Read  and be ready to give your opinion about it. Учащиеся читают различные мнения о роли компьютеров про себя и высказывают свое мнение, согласие или несогласие с точкой зрения героев.

9. Домашнее задание
10. - The lesson is over. You have worked hard.
