5. We (write) an English exercise at this time yesterday.
6. She (read) the whole evening yesterday.
7. You (eat) ice-cream when I rang you up yesterday.
8. My parents (go) to the cinema at four o’clock yesterday.
9. Jane (do) homework when her mother came home.

2. Напишите следующие глаголы в форме Past Continuous, распределив их по данным группам.

1. Become, begin, change, come, cut, expand, get, grow, start, leave, win, sell, spend, write, give, talk, forget, run.

a) “look-ing”: expanding

b) “tak(e)-ing”: becoming 

c) “travel-l-ing”: beginning

3. Составьте предложения, расставив слова в правильном порядке и поставив глагол в Past continuous.

9. Mike  (repair) his car  when his mother came home.
