Task 1. Read the text  about the Williamsons' house.

In Britain some people have flats in the blocks. Some have their own

houses. They say "Му home is my castle."

It' s true, because they love their homes. They spend much time there.

There are usually two floors in their houses: the ground floor and the first floor.

On the ground floor there' s usually а living room, а kitchen, children' s rooms

and а bathroom. The staircase leads to the first floor.

There are some bedrooms and а bathroom upstairs. There' s а fireplace in every house. It' s а tradition.

The Williamsons have а house too. The house isn' t large, but nice and com-

fortable. There' s Peter' s room, а living room, а kitchen and а bathroom on

the ground floor. On the first floor there' s Mr and Mrs Williamson's bed-

room, Susan's room and а bathroom. In front of the house there' s а kitchen

garden with lowers in it. There' s also а garden at the back of the house.

There are trees, flowers and а little pond in it. The Williamsons like to sit

there in summer. In winter they sit by the fireplace. They love their house.
