Have you heard such facts?

The world has about 195 countries, and each one is special. Here are some cool facts about a few of them

1. Japan. Japan is an island country in Asia. It is famous for sushi, robots, and cherry blossoms. Did you know that Japan has more vending machines than any other country? You can buy hot soup, umbrellas, and even fresh eggs from them! Japan also has very fast trains called "bullet trains" that go over 300 km/h.

2. Canada. Canada is in North America. It is one of the coldest countries, but also one of the nicest! Canada has the longest coastline in the world – longer than all other countries combined! It shares the longest land border with the United States. Also, Canada has two official languages: English and French.

 3. Brazil. Brazil is the biggest country in South America. It is known for the Amazon rainforest, where millions of animals live. Brazil also loves football (soccer). The 2014 FIFA World Cup was held there, and many great players like Neymar come from Brazil. In 2023, Brazil elected new leaders, and it continues to grow as a strong country in Latin America.

4. Egypt. Egypt is in Africa and has a very old history. The Great Pyramids of Giza were built over 4,500 years ago and still stand today! Most people in Egypt live near the Nile River, the longest river in the world. Today, Egypt is also building a new capital city to help with traffic and growth.

5. New Zealand. New Zealand is far south in the Pacific Ocean. It has beautiful mountains, lakes, and beaches. This country was one of the first to let women vote, back in 1893! In 2019, New Zealand made a big promise to protect the environment. It wants to be carbon neutral (no pollution) by 2050.

6. Germany. Germany is in Europe and is known for cars like BMW and Volkswagen. It also has over 1,500 kinds of sausages! Every year, people go to Oktoberfest in Munich to drink beer and eat pretzels. Germany uses a lot of wind and solar power to make clean energy.

7. Australia. Australia is both a country and a continent! It has unique animals like kangaroos, koalas, and platypuses. Some of these animals live nowhere else in the world. Australia also has the Great Barrier Reef, the biggest coral reef on Earth. Today, Australia is working hard to protect its nature and animals.
