We travel on the world.

Цель урока: Систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Путешествия».

Задачи :. 1. Тренировать учащихся в умении вести общение на английском языке в предлагаемых ситуациях.

 2.  Совершенствовать лексические навыки по теме: “Путешествия” на уровне свободного высказывания в виде монологической и диалогической речи, развитие навыков аудирования и чтения с извлечением необходимой информации.

3. Активизировать лексико-грамматические навыки (степени сравнения прилагательных).

4. Совершенствовать навыки диалогической и монологической речи по теме.

5. Воспитать чувство любви и уважения к чужой культуре.


Организационный момент:

Dear friends,

It’s always very interesting to travel to other countries, to different cities. It’s very important to learn something new about the traditions and the way of life of other people. It helps us understand them and make friends with them.

Today for us unusual lesson and I suggesting to visit a few countries. We will visit with you Great Britain, USA. You show to us that you know about these countries and know much new.

Boys and girls! Look here. This is the motto of our lesson:

London is one of the biggest cities in the world. It has a long history. The city stands on the river Thames and is an important port. London is a beautiful city full of nice parks and squares, palaces and museums, theatres and cinemas.

Standing not far from the houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey is a symbol of England. The legend says that Westminster Abbey was founded by St. peter himself. We know that W.A. was built by King Edward in 1065. The coronation of all British Kings and Queens takes place in W.A. Many visitors to the Abbey are attracted to Poets' Corner, with its memorials to great men of letters. Many outstanding statesmen, painters, writers and poets are buried there. Among them are Charles Dickens, Thomas Hardy, Rudyard Kipling, and others.

Стоя недалеко от палаты общин и палаты лордов, Вестминстерское аббатство - символ Англии. Легенда говорит, что Вестминстерское аббатство было основано Св. Петром непосредственно. Мы знаем, что W.A. был построен Королем Эдвардом в 1065. Коронация всех британских Королей и Куинса имеет место в W.A. Много посетителей Аббатства привлечены к Углу Поэтов с его мемориалами великим людям писем. Много выдающихся государственных деятелей, живописцев, авторов и поэтов похоронены там. Среди них Чарльз Диккенс, Томас Харди, Редьярд Киплинг, и другие.

Обучающийся вслух читает текст. Затем по сюжету «погода портится, и капли дождя смывают часть слов». Другой обучающийся зачитывает текст с пропусками, затем задание усложняется еще раз.

Выполняется задание 4 на листе (Составь предложение из рассыпавшихся слов).
