Тип урока: комбинированный

Практическая цель: закрепить умение выражать в элементарной форме свои мысли, распознавать в общем плане мысли других;

развивающая цель: развитие механизма языковой догадки,

воспитывающая цель: воспитание интереса к изучаемому языку, понимание важности иностранного языка.

образовательная цель: способствовать расширению общего и лингвистического кругозора

Уровень группы: Upper-Elementary

Оборудование: текст с заданием «multiple choice», текст для диалогической речи, текст для аудирования, карточки для составления текста

Ход урока:

I Greeting \ Организационный момент, приветствие.        

Good morning! How are you? I hope you are fine, am I right?

1. “Warm-up” \ Активизация внимания

• Here are some modern inventions that people use in everyday life. Let’s read and translate.

a microwave oven

a vacuum cleaner

a computer

roller blades

a dishwasher

-And now we should choice one of that words into this sentence.        (Students find the words)

People use ..... for write programs, play games, find and use information.

- Of cause, it is a computer.

When you want to find information on the web, it is helpful to use a search engine such as Google or Yandex.

You type in a keyword or a phrase, click in “GO” and a list of websites appears on your computer screen .

Many people use the web for online shopping or banking.

 To enter a secure site, you usually need to enter your username and a password

- Listen to the information about the role of computers, it’s helpful and disadvantages.

       Today computers help people to do many things. Bankers use them to keep track of money. Telephone operators use them to put calls through. Without computers, weather forecasters would make more mistakes. Computers also help scientists to solve their problems. More than that computers help police to keep order in shops. Computer also help doctors to treat patients. Computers allow users to spend their free time and relax.

       But computers have some disadvantages. Computers can make people lazy. People waste their time when they play different games on a computer. People forget to go to the libraries; they often find information on the Internet. Wicked games can make people, especially children aggressive and stupid.                                                                         (Students listen to the teacher)
