Teacher’s Day (праздник, посвященный Дню Учителя, для учащихся 4 – 5 классов)

     Задачи:

     Образовательная: расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся.

     Развивающая: развитие творческих способностей учащихся, формирование мотивации к изучению английского языка.

     Воспитательная: воспитание уважения к труду учителя, любви к своим первым учителям.

Show-host: Each of us had the first teacher. We all remember them and love them. Teacher’s Day is coming. Today we have a chance to express our love and gratitude to our teachers.

Pupil 1:

When God created teachers,                                        О, Боже милосердный,

He gave us special friends                                           Учителя храни,

To help us understand His world                                 Несущего нам веру,

And truly comprehend,                                                Свет знаний и любви.

The beauty and the wonder                                          Он мир нам открывает,

Of everything we see,                                                  Всё сущее кругом…

And become a better person                                         И он нам помогает

With each discovery.                                                    Стать лучше день за днем.

When God created teachers,                                         Наш друг и наш наставник,

He gave us special guides                                             Способен научить

To show us ways in which to grow.                             Ложь отличать от правды,

So we can all decide                                                     Счастливым в жизни быть.

How to live and how to do                                           Учитель нам поможет

What’s right instead of wrong   ,                                  В жизнь взрослую войти,

To lead us to that we can lead                                      Найти друзей хороших

And learn how to be strong.                                         На выбранном  пути                                      

Why God created teachers,                                           О, Всемогущий Боже,

In His wisdom and His grace,                                       Храни учителей!

Was to help us learn to make our world                       Пусть их любовь поможет

A better, wiser place.                                                    Нам сделать мир добрей.

Pupil 2:

I love my teacher,

He is full of love.

I love my teacher,

He doesn’t cause any strife.

Pupil 3:

In hands of gifted teacher

A classroom is a magical place.

In the hands of gifted teachers

There’s a smile on each child’s face.

Pupil 2:

Teacher says,

Teacher goes,

Teacher smiles,

Teacher knows.

Pupil 3:

I’m happy you’re my teacher,

Thanks for all you do.

You make learning easy,

Your lessons are fun, too.

Pupil 2:

     My first teacher is (называет имя). She is pretty and merry. She is always dressed smart. She’s made all my school years happy. She taught me to read, write and count. She taught me to get on well with all my classmates.

Pupil 3:

      My first teacher is (называет имя). She is like my mother. She taught me to sing and to draw, to be polite and honest. She taught me to be a good pupil.

Все три ученика хором: Thank you, my teachers!

      Now, let us show you some short scenes that can be watched at different school lessons.

The first lesson on Monday is Maths. What a terrible way to start the week!

(за партами сидят 6 учеников, перед ними учитель)

The teacher:

      I’d like to collect your exercise-books. Could you hand them in? I believe everyone has done the homework.

Pupil 1:

      I did my homework but my dog chewed it.

Pupil 2:

      I did it but left it at home by mistake.

Pupil 3:

      My brother took “my” homework instead of “his”.

Pupil 4:

      The page was missing from my book.

Pupil 5:

      Someone stole it.

Pupil 6:

      What homework?

The teacher (собирает тетради): OK! Now, let’s learn to count from one to ten.

Pupil 1 (поднимает руку, встает):

One, two, three, four, five,

I caught a hare alive.

Six, seven, eight, nine, ten,

I let it go again.

Pupil 2:

One, two, buckle my shoe,

Three, four, shut the door,

Five, six, pick up sticks,

Seven, eight, lay them straight!

Pupil 3:

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven,

Count the lovely arch on heaven.

Seven colours make a bow,

Sweetest, finest thing I know.

See the rainbow in the heaven,

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.

Show-host: The second lesson is Literature. We like reading and we like books but some pupils are not careful about them.(Звенит звонок).

Pupil:

I’m the book that Nancy read

For fifteen minutes together.

Now I’m standing on my head

While she’s gone to look at the weather.

My leaves are crushed in the cruelest way,

There’s jam on my opening page,

And I would not live with Miss Nancy Gay

Though I shouldn’t be read for an age.

Show-host: The third lesson is English.(Звенит звонок) 

The teacher: Children, you were to learn the names of the days of a week. Who can call them?

Pupil:

Solomon Grungy,

Born on Monday,

Christened on Tuesday,

Married on Wednesday,

Took ill on Thursday,

Worse on Friday,

Died on Saturday,

Buried on Sunday.

This is the end of Solomon Grundy.

Show-host: The following lesson is PE. It’s my favourite one.

(Звенит звонок, звучит музыка, ученики делают зарядку.

Head and sholders

Knees and toes,

Eyes, years, mouth and nose.

Show-host: School is over. It’s time to put all your school things into the schoolbag.

Pupil 1:

This is my schoolbag I carry to school,

With my books and my pencil inside as a rule.

Then I sit at my desk and do lessons all day

Or if teacher says yes, then we go out to play.

But when lessons are done and we freely can roam,

Then my school-bag and I, we skip merrily home.

Pupil 2:

School is over,

   Oh, what fun!

Lessons finished,

   Game’s begun.

Who’ll run faster,

   You or I?

Who’ll laugh louder?

   Let us try!

Show-host: our lessons are over. Our school years will be over some day. But we’ll never forget them.

(Звучит мелодия «Школьного вальса»

Merry school years we’ll never forget,

Merry school days are  forever and ever.

More kind people I hardly have met,

I shall remember my teachers forever.

Teachers have shown the world to us,                                                                              Teachers have cared and thought of us,

Let them be happy and well

«Thank you» the pupils will tell.

Let them be followed by happiness

And everywhere meet joy and success,

   THANK YOU, MY TEACHERS!
