Цели и задачи:

1. образовательные: провести практику речевой деятельности; учить логическому высказыванию по теме; активизировать в речи учащихся лексику по теме «Традиции и праздники»; провести повторение грамматического материала по теме «Времена английского глагола»;

2. воспитательные: развивать интерес к культуре собственной страны изучаемого языка, развивать любовь к предмету;

3. развивающие: развивать межпредметную связь и познавательный интерес учащихся; развивать умение диалогической и монологической речи; развивать способности к догадке, воображению.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, презентация, буклеты, карточки, ролик.

А. Приветствие.

Good afternoon, boys and girls. Sit down, please. Today we’ll have an unusual lesson, because we are speaking about holidays, traditions and customs of the English-speaking countries. Besides, there are too many guests today in our classroom that’s let’s show them our language skills. The topic of our lesson will be «Holidays and Traditions in Great Britain».

Listen to the tasks for our lesson. Today we’ll speak about holidays and traditions in G.B. Pupils and our guests have 2 smiles: negative and positive. After the lesson you can express your opinion with the smiles. If you like the lesson - give the positive smile, If you don’t like the lesson - give the negative smile.
