Урок- проект английского языка в 6 классе

на тему : « Животные в нашей жизни»

Задачи урока:

1. Закрепление лексических и грамматических навыков  по теме: «Animals in our life».
2. Активизация устной речи (проекты учащихся по теме: «Мy pet»).
3. Развитие внимания, памяти, познавательных интересов учащихся.
4. Формирование устойчивого интереса к изучению иностранного языка.

План урока:

1. Организационный момент.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
3. Лексическая деятельность.
4. Проверка домашнего задания (употребление глаголов в Present Perfect).
5. Физкультминутка.
6. Активизация устной речи (проекты учащихся по теме: «My pet»).
7. Итог урока.
8. Домашнее задание.

Ход урока: – Welcome to our lesson!

1. Организационный момент.

• Good morning , boys and girls! Nice to meet you. How are you?
• Fine, thanks and you?...
• I am OK.
• Tell me please, what date is it today?
• Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson about our pets. Animals are our friends and we should take care of them. Let’s start our lesson!

2. Phonetic exercises

At first, let’s practice the English sounds. I ‘ll show you the symbols of the English sounds and the task for you is to pronounce this sound and name three words with it on the topic “Animals in our life”. Remember the English words and get ready to start.

[ i: ] – feed, please, teach.

[ i ] – fish, kitten, give.  

[ p ] – puppy, parrot, play.

[ f ] – fox, food, for, five.

[ ai ] – society, giant, nine.

[ k ] – clever, kind, black.

3. Lexical activities

The game “Snowball”

Remember the names of the animals. The pictures on the blackboard will help you to remember animals. The first pupil will name one word, the second pupil will repeat it and add another word. The winner is the pupil who will repeat the chain of all the words on the topics.

Guess the riddles

This animal lives in the forest. It’s neither big nor small. It likes to eat carrots and it is afraid of a fox and a wolf. This animal runs very fast.   (It is  a hare.)

This animal lives at home or in the street. It’s a man’s friend. It can run, but  it can’t fly and climb. It is very clever and friendly. ( It is a dog.)

This animal is red. It likes hens, cocks, hares and ducks. It lives in the forest. ( It is a fox.)

This animal is very big. It is grey. It has a very long nose. It lives in India and Africa. It likes to eat leaves and grass. ( It is an elephant.)

4. Let’s check up your hometask
