Мною был разработан и дан типовой урок, содержащий все стандартные этапы: организационный момент, речевую разминку, контроль домашнего задания, упражнения на повторение, введение нового учебного материала, контроль понимания изученного материала, тренировочные задания. Данный урок продолжал тему «Путешествие», а также открывал новую грамматическую тему «Степени сравнения прилагательных», а также содержал структуры сингапурской методики: Round Robin, Rally Coach, Jot Thougts .Целевой установкой являлось ориентация на формирование развития навыков и умений англоязычной речевой деятельности студентов (аудирования, говорения-дилогической речи);ориентация на овладение учащимися аспектами языка (произношением, лексикой, грамматикой ), ориентация но воспитание культуры общения в коллективном взаимодействии.

Разрабатывая урок перед собой я ставила следующие цели :

-обобщить  изученный материал по теме «Путешествие»;

-ввести новый грамматический материал;

-первично закрепить изученный грамматический материал

 Задачами  урока являлись:

Образовательная:

1)    Систематизировать знания по теме «Путешествие»;

2)    Познакомить учащихся со степенью сравнения прилагательных, с правилами их  образования

3) Развивать навыки восприятия иноязычной речи на слух;

4) Активизировать изученную лексику.

5) развивать  навыки диалогической речи;

Развивающая:

-Развивать память, мышление, языковую  догадку;

Воспитательная:

-Воспитывать интерес к стране изучаемого языка, стремление расширить свой кругозор

The aims of the lesson:

1.To develop the student’s communicative skills;

2.To introduce the new grammar material « Adjectives Comparison» of the lesson;

3.To develop speaking and listening comprehension skills on theme Travelling;

4.To improve creative abilities of the students;

5.To cultivate a stable interest in studying English

The course of the lesson.

 I.Greetings.

Good day! I’m glad to see you again. Take your seats, please. I hope you feel all right today and are ready for the lesson.                  

II.Warming up.

Look at the window. What kind of weather is it today?Do you like such kind of weather? Think a little and answer using structure Round Robin.  Now we start. Begins partner 4-B , then continue in turn. .Partner 1-A share please us yours partners `answers. So, the next team now is your turn. Thank you.  

III. Home assignment.(Development of speaking skills)

Today we will continue speaking about Travelling, and study the new grammar material « Degrees of Comparison of Adjectives ».But first of all let`s check up your home work.

Your home work was to learn the dialogues about Travelling. Revise please the dialogues with your shoulder partners using structure Round Robin. I`ll give you some time.(Учащиеся рассказывают диалоги)

-You travel a lot, don`t you?

-Oh, yes, I love travelling, and I spend much of my time visiting different parts of the world, sometimes on business and sometimes for pleasure.

-Have you ever travelled by plane?

-Yes. I always go by air on my business journeys, but when I travel for pleasure, I usually go by train and ship. It`s so interesting getting to know the other passengers, and of course, I enjoy being on the sea in any kind of weather.

-Very many of my journeys  have  been  made by train. I find it quite pleasant, but not in the holiday season when there are so many people that you have to stand all the day.

-I quite agree with you. Then, of course, it`s better to go by car.

Your dialogues were very excellent. I`ll put you five (good, satisfactory).

IV .Development of listening skills

On the previous lesson we touch the theme « Travelling» and read the text about it. Now we are going to listen to a dialogue about the Wonders of the World, because I think every tourist wants to visit these Wonders. Find please this dialogue on the red papers.

You should listen to the dialogue very attentivly and fill in the gaps with the words from the box.

V.The rest minute.

Everybody stand up, let`s have a rest. Now you`ll move about the classroom dancing as your leader. Partner A-4 you will be a leader. As soon as music stops you should change your positions.

VI. Introduction the grammatical material.

Today we will know the new grammatical material  Degrees of Comparison of Adjectives. Write down the date and the theme of our today`s lesson. Look please at these examples and try to deduce (di`dju:s) a grammar rule. Let`s read and translate the examples.

tall– taller - the tallest

Short - Shorter - the shortest

beautiful- more beautiful - the most beautiful

There are three degrees of comparison in English-Positive, Comparative and Superlative.If the adjective has 1 or 2 syllables you should put the suffix –er to its root in Comparative Degree. If the adjective has 1 or 2 syllables you should put article the and the suffix –est to its root in Superlative Degree. Let`s read and translate the examples in the table.(Читаем и переводим примеры односложных прилагательных)

If the adjective has 2 or more syllables you should put the word more to the adjective in Comparative Degree. If the adjective has 2 or more syllables you should put article the and the word most in Superlative Degree. Let`s read and translate the examples in the table.(Читаем и переводим примеры двусложных прилагательных).Вut try to remember the exceptions. .(Читаем и переводим примеры исключений) прилагательных.

Farther, farthest\further, furthest употребляются параллельно для обозначения расстояния. Причем Farther обозначает больше расстояние(Я нашел его в самом дальнем углу парка), а further- имеет больше значение «добавочный, дальнейший»(Я получил дальнейшую информацию).

В сравнительной степени мы сравниваем один предмет с другим-Мой чай горячее чем твой. На английский язык этот союз всегда переводиться.

VIII .Development of grammatical skills in pairs.

In the next task you should open the brackets, putting the adjectives in right degree of comparison . We will do this task, using structure Rally Coach. The students B take please the sheet of paper with exercise and a pen. The first two sentences are yours. You should do this task in written form ,  pronouncing loudly. Students A -your task is to listen to your partner, checking and praising him if he is right. If your partner has a mistake you should correct him.. ( The students are doing the sentences in turn).

   The task: open the brackets, putting the adjectives in right degree of comparison.

  1. Is it_______ (cheap) to go there by car or by train?
  2. Don`t talk about them. Let`s talk about something_______________ (interesting).
  3. The weather was not very ______(good) yesterday, but it`s ______(good) today.
  4. Money is _________(important), but isn`t __________(important)thing in life.

Well done my dears, now exchange your works with your face partners. Now my dears check up. If your partners have 1 mistake their mark is good, if two mistakes

their mark is satisfactory.

1)Is it  cheaper to go there by car or by train?

2)Don`t talk about them. Let`s talk about something more interesting.

3)The weather was not very good yesterday, but it`s  better  today.

4)Money is important, but isn`t  the most important thing in life.

VII. Development of reading and writing skills

 Now I`ll give you one text .You should read it very attentively and pay attention on the adjectives. At first let`s read and translate new words.(The students are reading and translating the new words of the text).

Skyscrapers [`skaɪ`skreɪpəs]-небоскребы

Stately homes-величественные дома

 So, I`ll give you 5 minutes to read this text

The Americans are very  proud of their country. They say that in the USA the buildings are taller, the cigars are longer, the cars are bigger, and the girls are prettier  than anywhere in the world. The English don't always agree. Some say the Americans are louder,        richer and noisier than any other nationality. Other British people think there are lots of good things about the USA like Hollywood, jazz and Superman.

It is true that most American skyscrapers are taller than buildings in the UK, but the British think their stately homes are older and more beautiful than anything in the USA.

So, let`s read and translate this text in groups sentence by sentence. Begins partner 3-A.

Now you should answer the question:

What adjectives and degrees of comparison have you met in this text?

Think over please. Now give short answers using structure Jot Thougts. Give all answers whose hair is longer.
