The premiere of The Sleeping Beauty by Rostov State Opera and Ballet was a great success. It was choreographed by Alexei Fadeechev (People’s Artist of Russia), conducted by Alexei Shakuro, and designed by Alexander Vassiliev. The principal roles were performed by soloists of the company: Elizaveta Misler, Oleg Saltsev and Yuri Klevtsov (People’s Artist of Russia). All Tchaikovsky’s ballets are now in the company’s repertoire
