Олимпиада по английскому языку для учащихся 6 класса.

Олимпиада включает 4 задания: аудирование, чтение, лексико-грамматический тест и письмо.

Задание по аудированию  проверяет умение понимать в прослушанном тексте запрашиваемую информацию. Для проверки этого умения в работе представлены задания на выбор ответа из трёх предложенных . За каждый правильный ответ -1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов -9 баллов. Текст прочитывается учителем 2 раза.

    Первое задание  на чтение проверяет умение читать текст с пониманием общего содержания прочитанного. Ученику предлагается установить соответствие между 4 короткими текстами и заголовками, передающими основную мысль текстов. При этом в задание включен один лишний заголовок. За каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл. Всего 5 баллов.

     Второе задание нацелено на проверку умения понимать в прочитанном тексте запрашиваемую информацию. Для проверки этого умения в работе представлены задания на выбор ответа. Прочитав текст, учащийся должен определить какие из предлагаемых утверждений соответствуют содержанию текста (1 - True), какие не соответствуют (2 — False) и о чём в тексте не сказано, то есть на основании текста нельзя дать ни положительного, ни отрицательного ответа (3 — Not stated).

За каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов — 10.

     Лексико- грамматический тест позволяет оценить сформированность  грамматических навыков учащихся, а именно навык употребления неопределенных местоимений, прилагательных в различных степенях сравнения, времен группы Simple, Present Perfect, Present Progressive, вопросительных слов , употребления предлогов и  образования разделительных вопросов.

За каждый правильный ответ - 1 балл. Максимальное количество баллов — 11.

    Четвертое задание носит  творческий характер. Нужно написать письмо-приглашение на День рождения.   Максимальное количество баллов — 15.

При подсчете баллов за конкурсы применяется коэффициент 2: полученные  баллы умножаются на 2. В итоге максимальное количество баллов -100.

Victor and Anita, who live in Italy, are the happiest couple in the world. Two years ago,

they were on a boat a few kilometres from the beach. Victor asked Anita to marry him and he

gave her a nice gold ring. He wanted to put the ring on Anita’s finger, but he dropped it and it

fell into the sea. They were sure the ring was lost for ever.

That is, until last Friday, when Mr Morrison visited them. He has a fish shop and he

found the ring in a large fish which he was cutting up for one of his customers. The fish thought

because inside the ring there were some words. They were, ‘To Anita, All my love, Victor.’ And

Mindy and Her Bike

    Mindy lives in a small town. Its name is Lynton . Lynton is a green town with a lot of houses. Mindy lives in a small grey house near the cinema. Her family is not very big. She has a mother, a father, and a little sister. Mindy goes to school. She is a pupil. She goes to school five days a week. But she has no classes on Saturday and on Sunday.

      On these days she goes to the Bike Shop in the street where she lives. Mr Lucky has this shop. lie has a lot of bikes in his shop. They are big bikes and small bikes, red bikes and blue bikes. Mindy loves these bikes. She wants one bike very much. But she can't have it. She has no money.

    On Sunday and Saturday mornings Mindy helps Mr Lucky in his shop. She washes the floors and helps with the customers. She counts the new bikes, too. Mr Lucky and Mindy are good friends. One morning Mr Lucky gives Mindy a present. It is a red bike with her name on it. Mindy is happy. She loves riding her new bike.
