Урок построен по технологии деятельностного метода. Деятельностная цель- формирование у учащихся  способностей к структурированию и систематизации изучаемого предметного содержания и способностей к учебной деятельности. Содержательная цель- формировать целостную систему знаний потеме "Мировые религии". Урок также способствует воспитанию толерантности, уважения к культурным ценностям других народов.

Ход урока

  1. Вступительное слово.

There are so many countries on the Earth and so many people living in them. We are all different. We have different skin and color, different views, opinions and beliefs.

  1. Обозначение целей и задач урока. Предъявление вопросов для обсуждения на уроке с опорой на слайды.

Do all people profess religion?

              What is religion?

Slide2.  Why do so many people all over the world

profess some religion?

Slide3.  “Brain Attack”

                All people believe in one thing or another.

                What do you believe in?

                What do our beliefs depend on?

  • Why should we have some knowledge of world religions?
  • What is the main function of the religion?
  • What does it teach us?

You already know some basic facts on the world major religions. Let`s try and remember the sacred books, the sacred symbols and the sacred buildings of these religions.

Although each of the four main religions is different from the others, all of them share certain basic traits. Each offers a man a way of life which if it is followed will lead to a blissful destination.

Our beliefs are as varied as we are, that`s why a civilized modern man should treat other people`s beliefs with respect, rejecting only those which are immoral or lead to illegal actions or extremism.

What do we need in our complicated world?

I think to be tolerant and respectful for all religions.
