Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку среди учащихся 5 классов. «Мозговой штурм» (“Brainstorm”).

A  TOUR ABOUT ENGLISH LOVERS’ TOWN

1. Приветствие. Good afternoon boys and girls, good afternoon dear guests! We are glad to see you now in our school.  Today, we’d like to invite you on a short town tour and we’ll find out how well you know English.

And these are our jury; they will decide which team knows English best.

2.  Представление команд.

But before we start our tour let’s get acquainted and greet each other. Our first team is … (визитные карточки команд)

3. Начало экскурсии. So it’s high time to start our town tour.

a) Our first stop is the zoo.(Зоопарк)  First I want you to solve a crossword.  What animals can you find? (кроссворд). And now I want  you to guess an animal. (загадки о животных).

b) And now let’s visit our school.(школа) At school you study a lot of different subjects. Let’s see what they are. You’ve got a card and you should match a school subject and what pupils usually do at the lesson. (соотнести школьный предмет и деятельность на уроке).

с) And this is the post office.(на почте) This is John. He lives in England and he wants to make friends with you. So let’s write a letter to him. You should fill in the missing words.

d) I hope that you are fond of reading books, so I suggest visiting the library.(в библиотеке)

You task is to match the title of the book and the author. (соотнести название книги и ее автора)

e) And now I’d like to invite you to the playgound.  Let’s have a short rest – watch a short video and do some movements. I hope you are enjoying our tour and you are happy, so if you are happy (clap your hands, stomp your feet, shout hooray)

f)  Do you want to have lunch? So let’s visit a café. (в кафе)

We know that food can be healthy and unhealthy. Each team has a list with different kinds of food.  Decide which is healthy and which is not.

Now tell me please, what would you like to have for lunch?

 g) Now let’s do some shopping. We shall go to a big supermarket. (В магазине)

Imagine that you are at the supermarket and you’d like to buy something. You’ve got a short dialogue but  you should put the sentences in the correct order.

h) Our last stop is a  linguistic university.(викторина) All of you like English and maybe after graduating from  school you’ll enter a linguistic university somewhere in Great  Britain. We study not only the English language, but also the culture and traditions of the English-speaking countries. So let’s have a short quiz and see if you know culture and traditions of Great Britain.

4. Подведение итогов.

So our short town tour is over. I hope you’ve had a great time. Now our jury will count your points and tell us who the winner is today.
