Teacher: Hi! How are you? Ребята, вы любите сказки? А праздники? А хотите побывать на сказочном празднике? Мы сегодня с вами попадем на сказочный бал-маскарад. А куда мы с вами отправимся – это вы мне скажите сами. Надо только назвать буквы и прочитать волшебное слово.

Children: H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N

Halloween

(гаснет свет, музыка, освещаются плакаты)

Входят Jack-o-Lantern и его свита (Ghost, Pirate, Skeleton, Witch, Black Cat)

Включается свет. Jack и его свита поют песню “Halloween is coming…” (Г. Доля)

Jack-o-Lantern: My name is Jack. And this is my lantern made from a pumpkin. I am a King of Halloween. Today is our great holiday – Halloween. All evil spirits will come here.

Ghost:

Halloween is coming

 What will you see?

 I might see Jack-o-Lantern

 Winking at me.

Pirate:

Halloween is coming

 What will you do?

 I might go trick-or-treating

 How about you?

Skeleton:

Halloween is coming

 Whom will you meet?

 I might meet a witch

 Skipping down the street.

Witch:

Halloween is coming

 What will you wear?

 I might wear a blanket

 And be a brown bear.

Black Cat:

Halloween is coming

 What will you be?

 It’s a secret

 So wait and see.

Teacher: Your Majesty, I think it’s time to begin our ball. The children are waiting.

Jack: O’K. Spooks, skeletons, witches, black cats, pumpkins, all devils from the world, I’m waiting for you.

(Звучит музыка, «Нечисть» забегает в зал, выстраивается)

Teacher: Your Majesty, and how about our Russian friends?

Jack: I’d like to invite them, too. Kaschey Bessmertny, Baba-Yaga, you are welcome!

Кащей-Бессмертный: Hello, Jack! Hello, boys and girls! My name is Kaschey. I am from Russian fairy- tales. I speak some English. I’ll help you tonight.

Teacher: O’K. We’re glad to see you at our Halloween party. But where is Baba-Yaga, where is Vodyanoy?

Кащей: (по телефону) Баба-Яга, Водяной. Ждем вас на Halloween.

Jack: So, let’s begin our ball. This is Halloween.

Teacher: (представляет первую группу гостей)

One little skeleton, two little witches, three black cats, four plum pumpkins, five white goblins.

(«нечистая» задает вопросы о празднике Halloween, его традициях)

Кащей: Что такое? Что такое?

Вдруг скелет пустился впляс,

 Ведьмы на метле летают,

 На заборе черный кот,

 Тыквы катят по дороге,

 Скачут гоблины в домах…

 Есть ответ на то один -

 Это праздник – Halloween.

Ггости исполняют песню One Little Skeleton… (Г. Доля)

Teacher: (представляет вторую группу гостей)

Look out! Look out!

 Clear the track

 The witches are out

 They’ve all come back.

Jack: The witches are out tonight!

Кащей:

Прячьтесь все под стулья,

 Закрывайте двери.

 Ведьмы на охоту

 Вышли в поздний час.

(Ведьмы исполняют песню “The witches are out tonight” (Г. Доля))

Teacher: Let’s go on. Black Cats! (следующая группа гостей)

(под мелодию « Черный кот» выбегают «черные коты»)

Кащей:

Эти черные коты

 Расфуфырили хвосты,

 В темноте глаза сверкают

 Ужас в нас они вселяют.

Teacher: Что это у нас Баба-Яга задерживается?

Кащей: Oh, here is a telegram! (читает): « С вылетом задерживаюсь. Учу английский». -. Баба-Яга»

Teacher: Let’s go, Jack.

Jack: (представляет следующую группу). The spooks are out tonight.

Кащей:

Закрывайте все носы,

 Прячьте свои пятки,

 Если ведьмы вас поймают,

 Засмеют и разыграют.

Teacher: Jack-o-Lantern, Кащей, не пора ли нам отправиться в дом с привидениями.

“If you want to be frightened to death, let’s go to a haunted house”

(гаснет свет. Освещение: красная лампа)

В этом доме живет привидение. Вы знаете, что привидения не разговаривают, но любят появляться, когда их не ждешь, и ужасно любят страшные истории. Кащей-Бессмертный, нет ли у Вас в запасе страшилки? Если она ему понравится, оно появится и может поиграть с нами.

Кащей:

In a dark-dark wood

 There is a dark-dark house

 In the dark-dark house

 There is a dark-dark room

 In the dark-dark room

 There is a dark-dark shelf

 In the dark-dark shelf

 There is a dark-dark box

 And in the dark-dark box

 There is a Ghost!

(Выбегает привидение, собирает несколько детей в круг. Бегают по кругу.)

Teacher:

A flash of white in the darkness

 Who-o-o

 A squeak and a groan

 A squeak and a moan

 O-O-O

 Comes the howl

 It’s a ghost.

(Привидение проводит игру: «Вставь пропущенные гласные».Кто найдет себя в списке, будет другом привидения)

Teacher: А теперь попрощаемся с Привидением. Скажем хором:

“Criss-cross

 Double-cross

 Ghost get lost”

Эти слова помогут вам, если вдруг вы встретите привидение.

Teacher: Кащей, почему нет Бабы-Яги?

Кащей: (по телефону) Вызываю Бабу-Ягу.

Баба-Яга: (в избушке, перед ней учебник английского языка и магнитофон. Поет.) – песня из репертуара ВИА «Ариель»

Всем на удивленье,

 На зависть врагам,

 Занялась английским Баба-Яга

 Магнитофон под ухо,

 И бубнит старуха:

 Hi! Hello! and How are you?

 I love you!

 Ну а утром Jack-o-Lantern позвонил,

 На английский праздник Halloween пригласил.

 Приехать обещалась:

- Вот учу, стараюсь

 Hockey-Pockey им спою и thank you1,

 А намедни все Кащейка зазывал,

 Чуть Бессмертный телефон не оборвал

Все шипел на ушко:

Кащей: Прилетай, подружка.

Баба-Яга: Ты чего пристал Кащей как репей?

Кащей: Прилетай, подружка.

Баба-Яга: Да лечу-лечу, Кащей, все O’K.

Баба-Яга: Да, ладно, пора, полечу. Вот Водяного только прихвачу. Водяной, ты где?

(Водяной поет «Я водяной…»)

Баба-Яга: Что, Водяной, полетать захотелось? Так полетели.

Водяной: Куда?

Баба-Яга: Нас Кащей на английский праздник Halloween пригласил. Вся нечисть там сегодня. Только нас и не хватает.

Водяной: Да что же я там делать буду? Я ж английский не знаю.

Баба-Яга: А это ерунда. Я тебя сейчас научу. Заходим и говорим: “Hi!” – Привет, значит. Повтори!

Водяной: Hi!

Баба-Яга: Затем эти англичане жутко вежливые. Спрашивают: “How are you?” – «Как дела?», по-ихнему. Ответ прост – OK. Повтори!

Водяной: OK.

Баба-Яга: А на все остальное говори: “Thank you”. – «Спасибо». Не ошибешься. Повтори!

Водяной: Thank you!

Баба-Яга: Ну, вот английский выучили. Полетели. Устраивайся поудобнее. Самолет готов.(садятся на метлу. Прилетели в зал.)

Баба-Яга и Водяной: Hi, Нечисть! (Все: Hi! How are you?)

Баба-Яга и Водяной: OK. Thank you!

Teacher: Чем это ты, Баба-Яга, занималась?

Баба-Яга: Да вот, английский учила.

Teacher: Ну и как успехи?

Баба-Яга: Все OK.

Teacher: Давайте проверим поймет ли она нас?

All together: Trick-or-treat?

Баба-Яга: Конечно же, treat. Не обманите. Witches, witch’s brew готов?

Witches: (следующая группа гостей) Just a minute.

(Варят зелье и поют песню “Witch’s Brew”- Г.Доля. Из горшка с зельем достают газированную воду-сюрприз)

Teacher: Ведьмы свое зелье сварили. А поколдовать тебе слабо, Баба-Яга?

Баба-Яга: О, это для меня пара пустяков.

(Берет коробку и колдует над ней)

Ickle-pickle-huckle-buckle

 Mickle-muckle-nickle-nuckle

(достает из коробки мороженое)

А теперь тряхну-ка я стариной. Вся Нечисть в круг со мной. Танцуем танец “Hockey-Pockey” – значит «Мороженое».

(все танцуют)

Кащей: Jack, вся Нечисть в сборе. Праздник к концу подходит. А мы так никого и не заколдовали.

Jack: Just a moment.

(Вся Нечисть надвигается на зрителей со словами: “Abracadabra magic balm, hootes feather pixies palm”(twice)

Teacher: Dwarfs, help us.

(прибегают гномики, надвигаются на Нечистую)

Dwarfs: Rubble, double, cubble, bubble

Now good-bye to pain and trouble. (three times)

(Нечисть отступает назад, превращаясь в комочки)

Teacher: Ну что ж, ребята. Праздник подошел к концу. А чтобы вместе с нечистой силой ушли все страхи, повторяйте слова: Heigh-Ho!

Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho!

 To make your troubles go,

 Just keep on singing all day long.

Children:

Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho!

 For if you are feeling low

 You positively can’t go wrong

 With a Heigh-Ho!

(Все поют песню “Halloween”- Г.Доля)

Артисты кланяются.

The witches fly

 Across the sky,

 The owls go, «Who? Who? Who?»

 The black cats yowl

 And green ghosts howl,

 «Scary Halloween to you!»

 Tonight is the night

 When dead leaves fly

 Like witches on switches

 Across the sky,

 When elf and sprite

 Flit through the night

 On a moony sheen.

 Tonight is the night

 When leaves make a sound

 Like a gnome in his home

 Under the ground,

 When spooks and trolls

 Creep out of holes

 Mossy and green.

 When pumpkins stare

 Through sheaves and leaves

 Everywhere,

 When ghouls and ghost

 And goblin host

 Dance round their queen.

 It's Halloween.

Happy Halloween

It's late and we are sleepy,

 The air is cold and still.

 Our jack-o-lantern grins at us

 Upon the window sill.

 We're stuffed with cake and candy

 And we've had a lot of fun,

 But now it's time to go to bed

 And dream of all we've done.

 We'll dream of ghosts and goblins

 And of witches that we've seen,

 And we'll dream of trick-or-treating

 On this happy Halloween.

THE WITCH by Jack Prelutsky

She comes by night, in fearsome flight,

 In garments black as pitch,

 the queen of doom upon her broom,

 the wild and wicked witch,

a crackling crone with brittle bones

 and dessicated limbs,

 two evil eyes with warts and sties

 and bags about the rims,

a dangling nose, ten twisted toes

 and fold of shriveled skin,

 cracked and chipped and crackled lips

 that frame a toothless grin.

She hurtles by, she sweeps the sky

 and hurls a piercing screech.

 As she swoops past, a spell is cast

 on all her curses reach.

Take care to hide when the wild witch rides

 to shriek her evil spell.

 What she may do with a word or two

 is much too grim to tell.

Witches Stew by Gareth Lancaster

Bubble, blubber, squirm and gloop,

 Boiling broth of bat's tail soup.

 Wobble, slobber, liquid goo,

 Add the sole of one old shoe.

 Spooky shadows dance around,

 Of frogs and rats and snarling hounds.

 Steam swirls rising to the roof,

 Add one small ear and one old tooth.

 Gnarly, scratchy, tickle and itch,

 Stir round and round to make it rich.

 Mushy, sticky, sizzle and stew,

 They're making mischief just for you

ALL HALLOWE'EN

If You've Never

 Riding through the sky--

 Or never felt big bat's wings

 Flopping, as they fly--

If you've never touched a white thing

 Gliding through the air,

 And knew it was a ghost because

 You got a dreadful scare--

 Crying, "Whoo-whoo-whoo?"

 And never jumped at pumpkin eyes

 Gleaming out at you--

If all of these exciting things

 You've never heard or seen,

 Why then--you've missed a lot of fun,

 Because--that's HALLOWEEN!

A Trick of a Treat

Dressed up little creatures

 on a dark October night

 run from door to door

 giving everyone a fright.

They come and ring your doorbell

 and before they will retreat,

 they beg you for some candy

 by yelling "trick or treat".

When their bags are full,

 they run home to eat their fill.

 They taste a bit of everything

 and by morning they are ill!

So to keep the youngsters healthy,

 I've figured out a deal.

 This year instead of candy,

 I'll give them all oatmeal!

Halloween Wishes

Since this is the time for goblins and bats,

 Halloween spirits, ghosts and cats,

 Weird-happenings and witches brew,

 These are the things I wish for you.

May the only spirit you chance to meet,

 Be the spirit of love and warm friends sweet.

 May the tricks that you are asked to do,

 Be a trick to help you gain a friend or two.

So, by tomorrow, pick three friends sweet,

 And give them all a Halloween treat.

 You only have one day, so hurry!

 Leave a treat on the doorstep, then flee in a hurry!

Is it a Ghost?

Is it a ghost I hear

 Down the basement stairs,

 Creaking, rapping,

 Hooting everywhere?

 It could be the washing machine

 In need of repair,

 But is it really

 A ghost down there?

Is it a ghost I see,

 Crawling up my bedroom wall?

 Its body, with thin, bony fingers,

 Must be over ten feet tall!

 It could be tree branches

 Bending in the wind,

 But you can't fool me,

 The ghost is back again!

Ghosts must enjoy

 A devious lark

 Because they save their scary havoc

 Until it is dark;

 Have they nothing better to do

 Than haunt my house?

 It's getting too frightening

 For man or mouse!

Crazy Zombies

 Cause something was grabbin' at my feet.

 I said I needed something to eat.

 So I went to Micky-D's and I saw a giant

 flea and I threw my double cheese.

 I got up on my feet and it was way worse than flea.

 It was crazy zombies.

 But you will never win

 I start laughing at all the dares,

 And now I wonder who is really in there.
