на тему «Защитим планету вместе!» (Let’s Save Our Planet Together)

Цель урока: Активизация лексического материала в речи по данной теме

Задачи урока:

  • Образовательные задачи: формировать навыки просмотрового чтения; навыков монологической речи на основе текста; формировать навыки устной речи посредством составления собственных высказываний;
  • Воспитательные задачи: прививать учащимся чувство любви и бережного отношения к окружающей среде, чувство ответственности за место, где они живут.
  • Развивающие задачи: развитие навыков чтения по теме; развивать языковую догадку; умение работать в команде, развитие критического и творческого мышления; способствовать расширению кругозора учащихся.

Вид урока: комбинированный

Тип урока: актуализация и совершенствование лексических навыков.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедиа проектор, слайдовая презентация,  раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

  1. Организационный момент
  • Good afternoon, boys and girls! I am glad to see you again. Sit down please.
  • Today we have an unusual lesson, because we have guests. (слайд 1)

  1. Речевая разминка
  • How are you, boys and girls?
  • What is the weather like today?
  • What day is it today?
  • What date is it today?
  • What is the name of our planet?
  • What colour is the Earth?
  • What do you think is our planet clear?
  • Do people pollute our nature? (слайд 2)

  • Okay, well done, your answers are good. Why am I ask you such kind of questions? Because the theme of our lesson is about environment. We are going to discuss one of the main problem of the time– the ecological problem.

  1. Фонетическая разминка
  • High five! Now look at the screen and repeat the words after me.
  • Okay. Translate these words. Each participant of the groups will translate one group of words and announce translation to others by the method of “All Write Round Robin” (слайд 3). На перевод 2 мин, на запись 2 мин
  1. climate, environment, danger, litter, human being, packaging;
  2. lakes, seas, oceans, protection, pollution, plants;
  3. recycling, air, rubbish, animals, waste, throw away;
  4. factories, disappear, wildlife, dangerous, water, pure.
  1. Ознакомление с текстом
  • High five! Well done, boys and girls. Now we’ll do work by “A/ R Guide” I’ll give you cards. You should to mark your agreement or disagreement to the boxes before the statements. (Читаем текст на стр.43, упр.12, переводим.) 2 мин.
  • And now mark your agreement or disagreement again to the boxes after the statements.(слайд 4)

  1. Human beings are killing our planet.

  1. Millions of animals die every year because man has polluted their natural homes.

  1. The air is not polluted by power stations and factories.

  1. People cut the trees down because they need wood and paper or new places for farms and houses.

  1. It doesn’t take many years to grow to trees.

  1. Pollution isn’t very dangerous for people, wildlife and environment.

  1. Pollution of the environment destroys people.

  • High five! Have you changed your view? If you have take the card to next lesson and we’ll discuss them.

 

  1. Физкультминутка
  • And now stand up and walk to centre of the classroom. (Ученики встают, выходят на площадку, находят партнера, с которым назначили встречу в 6 часов (“Clock buddies”), и делают одинаковые движения парами. Один показывает движения другому. Сначала показывает тот, кто ниже ростом, а потом наоборот.)

  1.  Упражнения по тексту
  • High five! Have you had a rest? Very well. Take your seats please and let’s continue our theme. Find ex.14, p.44. Write captions for the pictures using the text. Compare your captions with other students by method of “Simultaneous Round Table”  30 сек.
  • Let’s check your captions. (У некоторых учеников спросить заголовки картинок)
  • Well done, boys and girls! Now look at Ex.16, p, 44. Answer the following questions. Discuss the questions by “Timed Pair Share” and tell me your answers. По 30 сек. на каждый вопрос.

  1. Подведение итогов

 High five! What new words have you learnt from the text? Which of the environmental problems do you think are the most dangerous? Which of the problems have we got at our place? You have worked hard today. Thank you for your work. Your marks are:  

  1. Домашнее задание
  • Your homework is Ex. 15, p. 44 (слайд 5)
  • Our lesson is over. You may be free. Good bye, boys and girls! (слайд 6)
