Introduction Language is a mirror of culture. It reflects not only the real world, but also the public selfconsciousness of the people, their mentality, national character and traditions. In addition, the language is the keeper of the culture that preserves it and passes it from one generation to another. In connection with the development of the Internet and with the advent of even greater opportunities to learn the culture of other countries, such a phenomenon appeared as borrowing words from another language. In research I want to study the penetration of foreign words into the Russian language, namely, English. 4

Main reasons of borrowing : the absence of words in Russian to designate certain phenomenon. For example : hashtag , lifehack accuracy, capacity, descriptiveness, compactness. Method Of Research I have selected a questionnaire as a method of research.The participants were students of groups from 1st-4th courses as a category of the generation most actively using the Internet for communication, and accordingly using Anglicisms in speech. The purpose of the research was to identify the degree of penetration of Anglicisms in the culture of communication among young people and the attitude of the respondents to the process of borrowing English words in Russian. 105 people took part in the survey. Students were asked to answer questions about using Anglicisms in their speech and express own attitude toward them. 9

Questionnaire Result Thus, thanks to a research, we are able to identify the most active sources of borrowing Anglicisms for young people. They are, oddly enough, such areas as the media, computer technologies and pop-culture . The most frequently used words are related to hybrids and traces , which were so much included in our lifes , that many of the people perceive these words as borrowed, only at a subliminal level. 1 2

Thus, as a result, we can say that the numerous Anglicisms have penetrated into the Russian language, especially in the youth slang. But this is a natural phenomenon that reflects political, cultural, economical and social connections and Russia’s interactions with other countries. From the other side, we should remember that if we try to copy foreign words, we lose our identity including our language. This leads loss of interest to the native language and culture.
