Environmental problems

Our health and our life depend on the environment directly.  We drink water, we breathe air, we eat vegetables and fruit.  Our planet is our home. Pollution of the environment is the main problem.  People often get ill and die because of it.  Overpopulation, pollution and energy consumption have created such planet wide problems as massive deforestation, ozone holes, acid rains and the global warming. The world’s air, water, land is polluted. It needs our protection.

People start pollution.  And one day our planet will become one big rubbish pit. The seas and rivers are in danger.  They are filled with poison: industrial and nuclear waste, chemical fertilizers and pesticides.  Air pollution is a very serious problem as well.

It is polluted with harmful substances. Nuclear power stations are great environmental threat.

We all know how tragic the consequences of the Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters are.

There are lots of measures to be done to prevent our planet from pollution.

We must plant greenery in big cities, we must remove factories out of the cities, we must create pollution control systems. Besides everyone should remember three important rules: reuse, reduce and recycle. In several countries there are organizations fighting for clear environment, “Green peace” for example.
