«My town in 25 years»

My name is Masha and I live in a modern city called Nizhnekamsk. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the Volga region. I sometimes ask myself, what would I like to see in 25 years of my home city? Let me dream about it.

First of all, I wish a new tram lines on the main streets of the city. It is very convenient means of transport. They will connect all parts of my city. We have only one line nowadays, which connects Vokzalnaya  Street with Krasny Kluch, Lesnaya Street and Industrial Zone.

Secondly, I imagine the future of my city with two or three theme parks. We have only park “Semya”. I think there will be sport fields with separate places for basketball, volleyball, football. Sport is very important for people of all ages. Also I see playgrounds for babies and for 4-7 years old children.  Sometimes it becomes dangerous when children of all ages play at the same playground. These theme parks will include green zones with cozy benches, lanes for cycling, jogging and walking. Also I dream about open air pools there. Especially it is cool to use them during hot summers.

Thirdly, I wish they finally solved the problem connected with pollution. Here we have one of the greatest industrial areas in our country.  It includes chemical production, production of tires and so on. These plants bring benefit to the country and at the same time do harm to nature and people’s health. There are facilities for treatment of wastes from chemical production now. However, I hope the new ways and new technology of cleaning water, air, and soil will be invented in 25 years. After all we need it to be healthy.

Fourthly, I wish they would build a zoo in our city. We don’t have it now. That’s why we have to drive to Kazan, Izhevsk or Moscow. It will be great to build it here. I hope to see animals from many parts of the world in the zoo. Animals will be kept in specious yards. It will be able to take care of animals and help them with cleaning, feeding and donating of money. Also I suggest giving part of the territory of the zoo to homeless cats and dogs and organizing volunteer help.

Fifth, in spring and summer time people need to grow flowers on their balconies because it will make my home city the most magnificent place in the country. The competition for the brightest floral house can be holding every year. It will be one more colorful holiday of my city.

At sixth, I wish all schools in our city will have five day study. On Saturdays all children will attend classes in special educational activity park. They will have interesting extra subjects, join master classes and play different games. There will be the possibility of real and virtual attending.

All my thoughts can become a reality, therefore, now we, children, have to study, dream, create. So that in the future these dreams come true. And my city will prosper and develop. Who knows?
