Career Guidance.

Career guidance for high school students is an essential stage in preparing schoolchildren to make conscious choice of future profession. This process helps adolescents better understand their abilities, interests and tendency as well as familiarize yourselves with the most sought-after professions on the labour market.

The main objectives of career guidance activities are:

- forming a conscious attitude towards choosing a profession.

- developing skills of self-determination and career planning.

- increasing awareness about the world of professions and job market requirements.

- assisting students in selecting further educational paths.

To achieve these goals, various forms and methods of work are used:

1. Diagnostic activities: Psychological testing allows identifying personal qualities, interests and preferences of pupils. It helps determine professional directions that are best appropriate to each student. 2. Informational events: Organizing lectures, seminars and workshops expands students' horizons regarding existing professions and career growth prospects. Practice - oriented activities: excursions to enterprises, internships and volunteer work allow schoolchildren to try themselves out in real-life working conditions. In conclusion, career guidance in high school plays a key role in shaping the next generation of professionals. Well-organized career guidance provides graduates with necessary knowledge and skills for making successful choices in profession and building a successful career.
