        Среди учеников  параллели 9 классов выбираются 6 желающих принять участие в игре. Остальные школьники приглашаются в качестве болельщиков, поддержать своих товарищей. Несколько учителей иностранного языка приглашаются в качестве жюри.      

    We are glad to see you! Today we’ll play a very interesting and exciting game – The cleverest pupil in the 9th form.  We have 6 players. They are : … ( представляем всех игроков по фамилиям, имени и классу).

                                                         I round

You all knew the rules! At the first round  you must answer my questions. I’ll ask you different questions and you’ll choose the answers from the chart. And then three players who give the biggest correct answers will play at the second round.

  Перед каждым учеником лежит лист с вариантами ответов на вопросы ведущего, среди которых он должен выбрать один правильный вариант.

    I’ll read 25 questions and three variants of answers, and you will circle only one right answer.  Are you ready? Start!

         Now give your lists to our judge. You may have a little break and we’ll count your answers. ( Жюри проверяет результаты ответов и подсчитывает баллы, набранные каждым учеником). В течении игры они заполняют таблицу:

       Players, come to your desks, please. The smallest answers gave the player number … ( объявляются результаты проверки и количество набранных баллов)

  So, you see that three players (назвать имена 3 школьников вышедших во 2 тур) will play at the second round.

Если несколько ребят набрали одинаковое количество баллов, то им предлагается дополнительное задание.

           You gained the similar points, so we’ll play “ Recorder” with you. You must find and write a word. Each letter of English alphabet is in the  circle with number. You can put letters instead of numbers and give your answer. Do you understand the rules? O’K. This is the day of the week. Find it, please.

(ученики выполняют задание « Кодировщик» и тот, кто быстрее найдет зашифрованное слово, передает лист с ответом жюри. Если все правильно, он выходит в следующий тур)

        We have three players in the final round. They are …

Now you must choose your topic and number.  Look at the blackboard! Choose the color which you like the best. ( игроки называют цвет и соответственно получают номера своих ответов по очереди 1-2-3 и название темы. 1- Reading ( yellow), 2 – British Traditions( green) and 3 – The Royal Family( red)  )

   I’ll show you the numerals of your questions and you must remember them. Are you ready?   ( у каждого игрока появляются карточки с номерами вопросов его темы, он должен их запомнить в течении минуты)

   If you give answer on your topic’s question, you’ll get 2 points. If you mistake and give answer on your competitor’s question, you’ll get 3 points. If you don’t give any answers, you’ll not get points at all.

   The first player is …( имя ученика) , you can choose the number of the question. ( игрок называет номер вопроса, ведущий смотрит свой или чужой номер назвал ученик, зачитывает вопрос и проверяет правильность ответа. Выставляется балл: если он дал ответ по своей теме, получает 2 балла, если вопрос был соперника и ответ правильный – 3 балла и если ответ не правильный, то 0 баллов. И так продолжается игра по очереди со всеми игроками, каждому задается по 10 вопросов.)

Жюри подсчитывает количество баллов, набранные каждым игроком и если есть видимый победитель, сообщает ведущему результаты. Если несколько игроков набирают одинаковое количество баллов, проводится с ними дополнительный тур .
