методическая разработка по английскому языку (8 класс) на тему

Факультативный курс представляет собой систему упражнений на основе коммуникативно-когнитивного подхода, способствующего осознанию дифференциации и общности грамматических явлений, необходимых для развития иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции.Факультативный курс предлагается учащимся 8 классов (4 год обучения) общеобразовательных школ и направлен на совершенствование лингвистических знаний учащихся. Учебно-тематическое планирование рассчитано на 18 часов. Эффективность обеспечивается через оптимальную последовательность усвоения когнитивных грамматических структур.  Часть 2 включает в себя блоки видо-временных форм смысловых глаголов. Для достижения ожидаемых результатов необходимо проработать Часть 1.

Блок грамматических структур группы  Simple смысловых глаголов дает возможность дифференцировать

а) грамматические структуры с именным глаголом –сказуемым и с глагольным сказуемым

b) am, is, are, was, were сo  вспомогательными глаголами  do, does, did  при образовании вопросительных и отрицательных форм

3. Блок грамматических структур группы Progressive позволяет

а) дифференцировать омонимичные формы am, is, are, was, were в функции именной части сказуемого и в функции вспомогательного глагола при образовании форм Progressive

b) использовать автоматизированный навык образования вопросительных и отрицательных форм

с) выявить ограничения в использовании Progressive  для выражения длительности действия

4. ВыражениебудущностиPresent Progressive – Present Simple: be going to – will

позволяет

а) дифференцировать значения различных грамматических форм при выражении  действия в будущем;

b) установить  ограничения для использования will

5. Условные предложения If-clause дает возможность установить сопряжение Present/FutureSimpleс другой грамматической структурой

6. PresentPerfect позволяет дифференцировать различные грамматические структуры

7. Present/ Past/ Future Simple Passive позволяет

а) установить различие форм Active – Passive

b) использовать автоматизированный навык образования отрицательных и вопросительных форм глагола tobe.

Содержание курса насчитывает 11 грамматических тем.

Данный курс может использоваться учителем для решения различных образовательных задач:

- во-первых, для систематизации, повторения, обобщения когнитивных грамматических структур в старшем подростковом возрасте (8-9класс) на уроках и в рамках факультативного курса;

- во-вторых, для изучения английского языка как второго иностранного языка, т.к. начало курса совпадает с данным возрастом;

- в-третьих, для индивидуальных занятий на закрепление конкретного грамматического материала;

- и наконец, для начального этапа подготовки к ЕГЭ по разделам «Говорение», «Письмо», «Грамматика».

Кроме этого, курс может быть полезен и учащимся для самоконтроля и самокоррекции грамматических навыков.

Couple who survived an amazing 66 days at sea

A couple from Miami, Bill and Simon Butler, spent sixty-six days in a life-raft in the seas of Central America after their yacht sank. They survived in very good condition.

Twenty-one days after they left Panama in their yacht, Siboney, they met some whales. ‘They started to hit the side of the boat,’ said Bill, ‘and then suddenly we heard water.’ Two minutes later, the yacht was sinking. They jumped into the life-raft and watched the boat go under the water.

For twenty days they had tins of food, biscuits, and bottles of water. They also had a fishing-line and a machine to make salt water into drinking water – two things which saved their lives. They caught eight to ten fish a day and ate them raw. Then the line broke. ‘So we had no more fish until something very strange happened. Some sharks came to feed, and the fish under the raft were afraid and came to the surface. I caught them with my hands.

About twenty ships passed them, but no one saw them. After fifty days at sea their life-raft was beginning to break up. Then suddenly it was all over. A fishing boat saw them and picked them up. They couldn’t stand up, so the captain carried them onto his boat and took them to Costa Rica. Their two months at sea was over.

A Diamond Ring.

        A merry company was sitting on the terrace of a restaurant. The table was laid for four: two men and two women. The waiter was sent for and soon the dinner was served. “When I was a young man, I was employed in a large importing company in New York. At the time I was in love with a pretty girl. Very soon we were engaged. About two months before our marriage I was suddenly sent to England. I left my girl and promised to write to her. I was upset, because I was told to stay in England longer than I had planned.

At last my work was done, and I could leave for home. But just before my trip home, I had bought a very expensive diamond ring. It was intended for my future wife.

On my way to New York I was looking newspaper which had been brought to me by my friend. In the newspaper it was written that my sweetheart was marrying another man. This made me so angry that I threw the ring into the sea.

A few days later when I was dining in the restaurant in New York, fish was brought. While I was eating, I felt something hard in my mouth. What do you think it was?”

“The diamond ring!” cried the companions. “No,” said the old gentleman, “it was a fish-bone.”
