по теме «Самый лучший из всех миров. Поэтому я хотел бы жить в этом месте.»

Тема: The best of all possible worlds. That’s why I would like to live in this place.

Типология урока: комплексное применение знаний и способов действий.

Этапы урока:

1. Устная работа.
2. Работа в парах, группах.
3. Самостоятельная работа.
4. Фронтальная работа.
5. Заключение (рефлексия, самооценка).

Цели:

Образовательная: формирование, развитие и совершенствование языковых навыков: устные речи, подготовленного монологического высказывания, диалогической речи, разных видов чтения (информационного, поискового, обзорного), коммуникативных навыков по теме.

        Активизировать употребление речевых образов и грамматических структур с целью осуществления запроса информации, разъяснения и умения выразить свое мнение .

Развивающая: развитие лингвистических способностей учащихся, желание общаться на языке.

Воспитательная: формирование активной жизненной позиции учащегося, их способностей решать проблемы выбора лучшего места на земле для жизни.

Оборудование к уроку:

Equipment to the lesson:

1. Компьютер, подготовленная учителем презентация упражнений – заданий в мультимедийном варианте.
2. Доска, экран, магнитофон, видео фильм о городе Тында, записи и картинки природы, чудесных мест на планете, раздаточный материал с упражнениями для учащихся.
3. Интерактивная доска.

Использование форм классной работы:

1. Фронтальная работа (ответы на вопросы, чтение выражений, нахождение русских и английских эквивалентов).
2. Индивидуальная работа – аудирование, чтение.
3. Работа в парах – составление микродиалогов.
4. Монологическая речь.
5. Ролевая игра – аукцион.

Приветствие, сообщение темы и характера работы на данном уроке.

3.Упражнение

I would like to live in a quiet provincial town, but in a picturesque place. Now I  am dreaming of  living in a home on a green hillside within a 10-minutes walk a broad white sand beach or of a river. I would  like to have a lot of horses,  a fertile farm land and a good climate for growing a variety of fruits and vegetables. But if I happen to change my mind, I can move to any place. Because Russia is a vast country with various climates,landscapes and possibilities where you can always find  a  place to your liking.

2. I should interested to know is the beauty of the country side not spoiled?
3. Do you know who is the owner of the Lake District National Park?
4. Have you got any idea why is Australia called «the lucky country»?

6. Do you know how many time zones are there in the USA?
7. Have you got any idea how did Death Valley get its name?

The city has an excellent situation. It lies in a valley with mountains rising behind it, not far from the sea. The mountains add to the attractiveness of the city. The people are hospitable here. A friendly smile is a common thing in the street, in a shop, everуwhere . The city serves a major commercial centre. There is plenty of work here. The city is big, overcrowded and environmental situation is not good.  

Ask questions, any questions you like. Use :

1. Can you tell me…?
2. I should be interested to know…?
3. Do you know how…?
4. Have you got any idea how…?
5. Do you happen to know…?

Listen to the text. Guess what is this place? Will it be pleasant to live here and why? What can you say about reasons and arguments: positive and negative.

  I live in the “Far East”. It is a broad cost along the Pacific Ocean, facing Alaska in the far north and Japan in the subtropical south including the large island of Sakhalin.  Inland lie forests, mountains, lakes, rivers. I was overwhelmed by the taiga  animals and wonderful vegetation. Follow the advice of Yerofei   Khabarov people settled here and developed once wild country: they built bridges, roads, plants and houses. I can’t imagine my life in another place.

Please, start to answer with these words:it is pleasant to live here because…….

It is a guiet place, surrounded by fields and woods. The countryside  around the place is beautiful with fertile  fields and rich vegetation. Through the place flows a wide clear river. It is lovely for swimming,fishing.This place is for those people who are looking for peace and rural environment.

        II.     It is a place still pretty with forests, mountains and lakes, where you can go on real adventure         holidays. But everyday life is not easy. You can feel terribly isolated out here. Droughts, fire and flood are       the   dangers.

         III.     This place is situated close to the big centre of the of the city. The city serves as a major   commercial centre. Of course, there is plenty of work here. The city is very big, crowded and very hot. The   people are hospitable here. A friendly smile is a common thing in the street, in a shop, everywhere .
