The Turnip

Once upon a time there lived a grandfather. One day he went to the field to plant a turnip. Day by day the turnip grew and grew bigger.

Grandfather: What a nice turnip. I’ll pull it out. Oh, it’s difficult. Granny, help me, please.

Together:  One, two, three… We can’t do it. Granddaughter, help us, please.

Granny: What a wonderful turnip! I’ll help you.

Together:  One, two, three… We can’t do it. Granddaughter, help us, please.

Granddaughter: Oh, what a good turnip! I’ll help you.

Together:  No result. Dog, dog help us, please.

Dog: Woof, woof I’ll help you.

Together:  Cat, cat, help us, please.

Cat: Meow, meow, I see. Let’s pull out the turnip together.

Together: Rabbit, rabbit help us, please.

Rabbit: I’ll help you. Of course.

Rabbit: Let’s call the mouse.

Together:  Mouse, mouse, help us, please.

Mouse: Squeak, squeak! I’ll help you.

Together:  One, two, three… We have done it at last! Now we have a good dinner.

T: Thank you.

Red Riding Hood

Mother: Red Riding Hood, I want you to take a basket of good things to your grandmother, who isn't very well; some bread, a cake, and a piece of fresh butter. And don't talk to any strangers you may meet.

Red Riding Hood:  I will do just as you tell me, Mother.

Wolf:  Good morning, Red Riding Hood,

Red Riding Hood:  Good morning, wolf,

Wolf:  Where are you going so early?

Red Riding Hood:  I am going to visit my grandmother who is not very well,

Wolf:  What have you in your basket?

Red Riding Hood:  I have some bread, a cake, and a piece of fresh butter.

Wolf:  Where does your grandmother live?

Red Riding Hood:  She lives in the wood. Her house is under three oak-trees and there are nut bushes beside it.

Wolf:  This pretty little girl will be a tasty dinner for me! She will be more tasty than the old woman. But if I am careful, perhaps I can eat them both up.

Look at the pretty flowers, Red Riding Hood! Why don't you gather some flowers for your grandmother? She will be very pleased with some fresh flowers if she is not well and cannot go out.

Red Riding Hood:  What a good idea! It is quite early. I have time to pick flowers.

Grandmother : Who is there?

Wolf:  It is Red Riding Hood. I have brought you some bread, a cake, and a piece of fresh butter.

Grandmother: Lift the latch and walk in. I am too weak to get up.

Red Riding Hood:  Good morning, Grandmother. Oh Grandmother, what big ears you have!

Wolf:  The better to hear you with, my dear.

Red Riding Hood:  Oh Grandmother, what big eyes you have!

Wolf:  The better to see you with, my dear.

Red Riding Hood:  Oh Grandmother, what big hands you have!

Wolf:  The better to hug you with, my dear.

Red Riding Hood:  Oh Grandmother, what big teeth you have!

Wolf:  The better to eat you with, my dear.

Red Riding Hood:  Help me! help me!

Hunter: I know who you are. You've done bad things for years. Well, you'll never have a chance to kill anyone else.

Red Riding Hood:  Oh, my dear granny, how frightened I was! Thank you very much.

Mother: Red Riding Hood, I want you to take a basket of good things to your grandmother, who isn't very well; some bread, a cake, and a piece of fresh butter. And don't talk to any strangers you may meet.

Теремок

There stood a small wooden house (teremok) in the open field.

A mouse ran by:- Little house, little house! Who lives in the little house?

Nobody answered. The mouse went into the house and began to live there.

A frog hopped by:- Little house, little house! Who lives in the little house?

-I am a mouse. And who are you?

-I am a frog. Let's live together.

So the mouse and the frog began living together.

A hare ran by. He saw the house and asked:

- Little house, little house! Who lives in the little house?

-I am a mouse.

I am a frog. And who are you?

-And I am a hare.

The hare jumped into the house and all of them began living together.

Then there came a fox. She knocked on the window:

- Little house, little house! Who lives in the little house?

-I am a mouse.

-I am a frog.

-And I am a hare. And who are you?

-And I am a fox.

The fox climbed into the house too.

A wolf ran by: Little house, little house! Who lives in the little house?

I am a mouse.

-I am a frog.

-And I am a hare.

And I am a fox. And who are you?

- I am a wolf.

The wolf climbed into the house too, and they all started living together.

A bear walked by. He saw the house and roared:

Little house, little house! Who lives in the little house?

I am a mouse.

I am a frog.

-And I am a hare.

And I am a fox.

And I am a wolf. Who are you?

And I am a bear!!!

The bear started climbing onto the roof and - crushed the whole house!

All of the scared animals ran away in different directions!
