London. Passive Voice.

Тип урока:

комбинированный

Цели урока:

  1. Образовательные:
  1. совершенствование лексических навыков;
  2. повторение и закрепление лексико-грамматического материала по теме «Страдательный залог»;
  3. активизация ранее изученных лексических единиц;
  4. знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона.
  1. Развивающие:
  1. Развитие социокультурной компетенции;
  2. развитие интереса к учебно-познавательной деятельности студентов на уроках английского языка;
  3. развитие самостоятельности, способности к логическому изложению, речевой догадке, способности осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия.
  4. развитие познавательных интересов к культуре народа Англии;
  5. развитие у студентов способности ориентироваться в определенной ситуации и выбирать адекватные средства и способы общения.
  1. Воспитательные:
  1. воспитание культуры общения;
  2. воспитание чувства поддержки, взаимовыручки, такта.

Оборудование:

  1. компьютер, колонки;
  2. раздаточный материал;
  3. учебники;
  4. проектор, экран.

Ход урока

  1. Организационный момент:

Цель – подготовка студентов к работе на уроке.

  1. Good morning, dear students! I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please.
  2. Who is absent today?
  3. What date is it today? – Write it down on the blackboard.
  4. What day is it today?
  5. What’s the weather like today? – Is it rainy? Is it sunny?
  6. The topic of our lesson is “London. Places of  Interest”. (Слайд)
  7. (Слайд) So, the plan of our lesson is the following:
  1. revise our vocabulary on topic “London”;
  2. check your homework;
  3. revise grammar “Passive Voice”;
  4. do different exercises on our topic;
  5. at last we’ll sum up all our knowledge and discuss your marks. Of course, you’ll get home task.

  1. Проверка домашнего задания:

Цель – установить правильность и осознанность выполнения домашнего задания, выявить уровень знаний студентов, повторить пройденный материал.

  1. Remind me, please, what was your home task? (revise vocabulary; make a report about London – 10 sentences; learn new grammar rule “Passive Voice”).
  2. Let’s begin with vocabulary.
  3. Great, now we are going to revise some London sights. Please, look at the screen and tell me “what’s this?” (Слайды – Tower Bridge)
  4. Now it’s time for you to speak about London. (Слайд). I’ve asked you to learn a small report about this beautiful city. Who would like to answer? Today I’ll ask only 4 students.

- So, we can pass on grammar. (Слайд)

- At first, let’s remember the irregular verbs. On the screen you can see the first form. You should name the second and the third forms. But, answer the following question:

  1. Which form do you use in the passive voice?

  1. Now we’ll check your understanding of this rule. Look at the screen. You will see 7 pictures. You should make sentences in the right tense using the rule of Passive Voice. Open your copybooks please. (Слайды)

  1. And now a small test. Write down in your copybooks the word “Test”.

You have to change sentences using passive voice structures. (Слайд)

Let’s change your copy-books in pairs to check the works. (Слайд)

  1. The usually visit Mr. Grey in the morning. (Mr. Grey is usually visited in the morning)
  2. He will speak to his cousin tomorrow. (His cousin will be spoken to tomorrow)
  3. They often give her apples from their garden. (The apples are often given to her from their garden)
  4. They built a new hospital last week. (A new hospital was built last week)
  5. We don’t translate the poems at home. (The poems are not translated by us at home)

  1. Подведение итогов.

Цель – сделать вывод и подвести итог, отметить работу студентов, выяснить, что нового узнали студенты на уроке.

 Let’s sum up the results. (Слайд)
