Teacher:  Good morning! Take your seats, please, and get ready for the lesson. Let's me introduce myself. My name is Anna Andreevna. And I'll be your teacher today.                                                                                                                          First of all listen to me carefully:  You have folders with card on your desks which we'll use during all our lesson.

And now I suggest you tо look through  Card № 1. It's the dialogue and then answer my questions.

• Hello

• Will you have any plans next week?

• I want to visit Crimea! And you?

• I Know you don't like airplanes, but there are any variants of road. F.g. by train, by car and by ferryboat (паром)

•Ok! Tomorrow I'll book tickets. Bye!

• No. What do you want?

• Oh! It's wonder! What type of transport do you want to go by?

• Really! As for me I prefer travelling by train.

  2. Blue paper- travelling by train
  3. Red paper- travelling be ship
  4. Green paper- travelling by car

 

Teacher:  Now work in groups.Every group work with there own text and find adventages of your type of travelling. ( I'll give you 3 minutes)

План-конспект учебного занятия по английскому языку в 8-м классе.

Тема урока: "Ты любишь путешествовать?"

Цель урока: ознакомить учащихся с видами транспорта, при помощи которых можно путешествовать и владение лексическим и грамматическим материалом в рамках данной темы.

Обучающие и развивающие задачи: 

  • практиковать учащихся в обсуждении проблемных вопросов по теме;
  • развивать навыки поискового чтения с пониманием информации;
  • развивать навыки самостоятельной работы;
  • развивать внимание, мышление, логику высказывания;
  • развивать умение давать оценку высказыванию своих товарищей.

Воспитательные задачи: 

  • прививать детям любовь и понимание необходимости изучения культуры страны изучаемого языка;
  • развивать у учащихся интерес к изучению английского языка, как источника получения интересной информации и новых знаний.

Тип урока: совершенствование знаний.

Методы: словесные: беседа. 

                наглядные: использование картинок с изображением транспорта,  карточек с иллюстрациями;

       Средства обучения: раздаточный материал, картинки с изображением транспорта,  карточки с заданиями, учебная доска.

Структура урока:

I. Вводная часть (2-3 минуты):

1) организация учащихся;

2) объявление темы урока;

3) постановка цели и задач.

II. Главная часть (20-25 минут)

III. Заключительная часть(4-5 минут)

Travelling

Modern life is impossible without travelling. You will see hundreds of people hurrying to catch a train, a ship, or a plane, all wanting to go somewhere and to get there as quickly as possible.

Of course the fastest way of travelling is by plane. With a modern air-liner you can now travel in one day to places which it took a month or more to get to a hundred years ago. You will send your tickets to your home. You can go to the airport in a bus, getting there just in time to hand in your luggage and board the plane. The seats on the plane are comfortable, and you can sit and read, look out of the window, or sleep until you arrive at your airport. You can have breakfast in Moscow, dinner in London or Berlin, or supper in New York on the same day. In many countries -for example, in the UK - the fare by air is no dearer than by railway.

Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but it also has its advantages. You can see the country you are travelling through, and not only the clouds as when you are flying. Modern trains have very comfortable seats in all passenger carriages, and there are sleeping -cars and dining-cars which make even the longest journey enjoyable.

Some people prefer to travel by ship when possible. There are large liners, holiday ships and river boats on board which you can visit different countries or parts of your own country. Ships are not so fast as trains or planes, but a sea voyage or a river trip is a very pleasant way of spending a holiday. Trips on the Volga and other rivers are very popular in Russia.

Many people like to travel by car. The advantages of this way of spending a holiday are that you can make your own time-table, you don't have to buy a ticket, and you are not afraid you will miss your train. Besides, you can travel three or four hundred miles or only fifty or one hundred miles a day, just you like. And then you can stop wherever you wish-where there is something interesting to see, at a good restaurant where you can enjoy a good meal, or at a hotel to spend the night. That is why travelling by car is popular for pleasure trips, while people usually take a train or a plane.

Teacher: Let's start. Every group tell about there adventages and 2 other groups listen to them carefully and tell us are you agree or disagree with them.

Teacher: Why do people travel? Give your reasons… Now look at the scheme. Have we mentioned all the points?
