1. Introducing a topic.

Do you know/remember that..?/ We have to make a decision about…/ Let’s decide about…/  We need to decide on…/ What shall we V1?  

2. Making Suggestions / Discussing Suggestions / Giving Opinion

• Why don’t we V1? /   How(What) about …+Ving?    
•  Let’s  V1 /As for me I think we should V1…
• What do you think of Ving…? / Do you think we should V1…?
•  Perhaps we should…  
•  How do you feel about Ving?    / Surely, it’d be better to…
• It’d be a good idea if we V2 / What would be really great is if weV2… /            
•  I think the best thing to do would be to… / It would be a good idea to…/ I’ve got a good/better idea Don’t you think……? / And, to be honest….

  3.  Agreeing / Disagreeing 

• That’s a good point(idea) / I quite (can’t) agree with you. /You’re right, but… / That’s true.
• Yes, but…/ I don’t have the same idea./ You are dead right / OK. Why don’t we both do that?
• I’m afraid you’re wrong. /  I see what you mean, but don’t you think…?/  OK. Let’s do that.  
•  I don’t think it would be a good idea  /   Yes, but don’t you think that...? .
• That sounds like a good idea   /  I’m not sure about that/ Oh, come off it./ That’s not the point
• Personally, I’m not that keen on…/  You know, it’s not really my thing /
• That sounds a bit boring../I don’t think that’s such a good idea because……..

 4. Asking for opinion.

• What would you recommend (suggest)?/What would be your next choice? So, what do you think we should V1..? What do you think about it?/ What’s your idea about it?/So, what can we do then?
