План-конспект зачетного урока

Цели:

познавательный (культорологический) аспект - познакомить учащихся с историческим развитием кинематографа в России, Америке, Британии, с известными продюсерами и режиссерами;

развивающий - развитие дедуктивного мышления, способности к анализу, классификации, формирование способности к осмыслению восприятия через контекст другой культуры, формирование способности к переключению внимания, к анализу и синтезу, к сравнению и сопоставлению фактов, к формированию выводов из прочитанного, развитие способности к самостоятельному труду и к труду в группе, развитие способности к догадке, коммуникабельности, способность осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия;

воспитательный аспект - воспитание чувства сопричастности к мировой истории, памятникам искусства, более глубокое осознание своей культуры, воспитание толерантного отношения к мнению других;

учебный аспект - формирование лексических навыков чтения и говорения

Сопутствующие задачи:

1. развитие умения читать с целью извлечения конкретной информации.
2. умение догадываться о значении слов по контексту.
3. формирование грамматических навыков в построении relative clauses.
4. активизация лексики по теме.

Речевой материал:

Лексический: a director, a genre, studio, silent, to shoot

Грамматический:  повторение придаточных определительных (relative clauses) предложений.

1. Introduction:

 Good morning, everybody. I’m glad to see you. Let’s start our lesson. Today we’ll have a lesson according to our tropic “Development of cinematography”

2. Warming-up activities.

Answer my questions, please.

1) Do you know who make the first film? (The Lumiere brothers made the first film “Arrival of the Train”)

2) What do you know about Hollywood? (I know that Hollywood is situated near Los Angeles. It is the capital of filmed entertainment)

3) What are the famous film studios in Russia? (As for me, I know Len film, Moscow film studios)

3. Phonetic activities:

Please, repeat the sounds, read the words:

[t], [d] – studio, film studio, first, the first film studio, the first sound film; director;

[r]       - demonstrate, demonstrated, industry, cinematography, history;

[w]     - world, in the world, well-known.

4. Grammar activities:

Choose “which / who” and complete the sentences:

1. The first studio appeared in Hollywood which was a part of Los Angeles.
2. A. Rou is one of the most famous directors, who is a creator of fairy tales.
3. Charlie Chaplin is a comedy actor who starred in a number of silent films.
4. R. Bykov shot a lot of children films which made him famous.

 You’ll get texts from the internet. Please, complete the table. It helps you to do your report.

 Now, let’s represent the history of cinematography of your country.

7. Now, please, answer my questions:

What is common in the history of cinematography of countries? Why?

What is different? Why?

How does the development of cinematography of one country influence on other countries?

8. Homework

 Please, open your diaries. Your home task is: to prepare a monologue about the history of cinematography of one of the countries.

 Good morning, everybody. I’m glad to see you. Let’s start our lesson. Can you tell me the topic of our lesson?  And what are we going to do today? Yes, you are right, today we’ll have a lesson according to our tropic “Your music preference”. We’ll speak about music, listen to music and write about your music preferences.

2. Warming-up activities.

Answer my questions, please.

1) How much do you like music?

2) What is your favourite kind of music? 

3) What is the name of a musician you are now listening to the most? 

3. Lexical activities:

Match the words to make meaningful expressions:

4.Listening for the common understanding of context

Listen to the musicians and guess who is performing?

Listen to the teenagers talking about their music preferences and match the names of the pop stars with the speakers (see Ex.94, p.36 in Student’s Book, Workbook Ex.2, p.18

5.Listening for specific (detailed) information

Listen again and match the speakers with the following opinions. Which of them do you personally share? Fill in the third column in the table. Say me, please, which of the speakers  do you personally share and why.

6. Lexical activities

Create a word web using the words from Ex.96, p.36 in Student’s Book, Workbook Ex.4, p.18
