THE TERRITORY OF ASTRALIA Australia- 7614000 squares km Australia is the smallest and the driest continent in the world. Great deserts cover nearly 2,000,000 squares km Its population is very small( only 0.3 % of the world ‘s population) for such a huge Country.
Canberra Canberra is the capitol of Australia, with a population of about 1 million people. It's situated on the East coast. Also, Canberra is the cosmic centre.
As much of the land are deserts: the Simpson Desert and the Great Sandy Desert , peoples built the cities near sources of water. There are few rivers in Australia. Its best known river is the Murray. The longest is the Darling. Australia’s Deserts and rivers.
Animals and vegetation of Australia. As Australia is separated from other countries, there are very different and very unique animals and plants. The nature is magic!
There are a lot of wonderful birds and reptiles In Australia. Australia has a many deserts, in this leave a camels, also- reptiles: a crocodiles, a turtles, snakes and lizards. Some of snakes are poisonous, That’s why after their sting you can be dying
Australia’s resources. The continent is rich in different mineral resources: -oil -gas -coal -gold -different kind of ores
Fishing has a great role in Australia’s economy. The Australian continent is washed in the north by the Timor and Arafura seas and Torres straight, in the east by the Tasman and Coral seas, of the South Pacific Ocean, in the south by Bass Strait and the Indian Ocean
Exotic fruits! Thanks to warm climate, Australia has a lot of exotic fruits!
